As a techie, I was looking for a switch to jump between two different laptops connected to same monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse. Came across this product and it was an amazing addition to my home office setup. Quick and very easy setup. Works like a charm and have been telling all my friends to get one of these. Connects well to power and no flickering noticed. Switch is quick too. Would definitely recommend this product.

I've plugged in a mouse, keyboard and microphone into the KVM, but all three disconnect at the same time randomly.

This is a cheap solution if you're looking for a KVM switch, and it works just fine. The HDMI supports 60Hz and the USB is 2.0, which is fine for mice and keyboards. The cables are included, so you get everything you need to run two computers from the same desktop setup. I have used this with a Windows desktop and either a Raspberry Pi or a Macbook Pro, and it has worked great with all of them. Just hit the button on top and it flips between the two sources. Easy, effective, and cheap. I remember spending nearly $400 on a good KVM about 25 years ago (and it was huge!), so it's nice to see they are a commodity at this point.

2 monitors, 2 towers, complicated situation simplified.My office has a dedicated tower for our camera system that i wanted to link to one of my monitors but have the ability to use one monitor for both towers without a 20 second menu button exercise to switch back to double monitor for my desktop pc. Now im 5 seconds max with a blackout screen during switch which keeps curious eyes from seeing anything during the transition.Wired SwitchPRO: Grey wired remote switch button is a nice convenience if you want the box hidden in a place that makes the small white on-box switch button hard to get to.CON: it would be better flow if the CTRL connector for the wired button switch was in the back of the box, not the front. This would allow a more seamless flow of wires behind the desk.Monitor Resolution:PRO: works with adapters for older computers that dont have HDMI. Due to my older tower not having HDMI i had to do an adapter and was worried it would impact the effectiveness or screen quality. So far it works great but i do notice its a downgrade in screen clarity for my tower using the adapter, but not enough to be an issue.OVERALL EASY TO USE BUT I added simplicity during the plug in process by labeling the hdmi plugs on each end so when staring at 3 identical plugs there was less confusion on where each needed to go.Product overall review:PROS: includes USB 3.0CONS: My only real complaint with the listing is the lack of clarity in their description that you need to prepare the HDMI cables means they are NOT included, which is not wording that registers well when scanning through 10 product item listings trying to choose between very similar options.

There is no control port/button on the design which is super inconvenient as now I have to have the box with easy access and see all the cables to use the button on the device.The screen also flashes black whenever doing anything with a higher refresh rate such as gaming or 4K videos.Not great for the purpose I bought it for really.

En casa tengo un monitor al que conecto mi PC de sobremesa y, cuando trabajo desde casa, mi portátil Lenovo. Hasta ahora, tenía un switch HDMI para conmutar entre un equipo y otro. Por otra parte, también utilizo un kit Logi Silent Touch formado por teclado y ratón inalámbrico que pasaba de PC a portátil cambiando el receptor USB entre uno y otro. Ahora, solo pulso un botón para elegir con qué equipo quiero trabajar. Este switch KVM ha resultado ser una solución comodísima para compartir y controlar dos PCs con un solo juego de teclado, ratón y monitor. A mí, me ha simplificado la vida.Soporta una salida de vídeo de hasta 4k a 30Hz, fantástico aunque mi monitor no la soporta. En cualquier caso, funciona de maravilla a 1920x1080 que es lo que necesito.Los puertos USB, aunque son 2.0, funcionan bien. Tengo conectado el receptor de teclado y ratón, una webcam para el sobremesa y un puntualmente un disco duro externo. Todo funcionando sin problemas.Para cambiar entre mis dos ordenadores solo tengo que presionar un botón, y en pocos segundos paso de uno a otro. Ce boitier KVM (pour Keyboard/Video/Mouse), est un appareil pratique qui permet de contrôler deux ordinateurs différents à l'aide d'un seul ensemble de clavier, souris et écran.Les entrées/sorties vidéo se font obligatoirement en HDMI, et chaque entrée USB (une par machine) est divisé en 4 permettant de connecter jusqu'à 4 périphériques, clavier & souris bien sûr, mais également imprimante et disque dur externe par exemple.Prudence toutefois avec ce dernier exemple, car si l'on switch d'ordinateur lors d'une copie sur un disque externe, ou une clé usb par exemple, la copie sera interrompu et pourra provoque une corruption du contenu en cours de copie au moment de la bascule.Le boitier est relativement compact et construit en métal ce qui laisse présager d'une solidité à toutes épreuves. 4 pieds en caoutchouc assurent une stabilité parfaite ainsi qu'une protection du support contre d'éventuelles rayures.2 cables USB sont fournis, ainsi qu'un cable HDMI. Il faudra compléter la connectique en fonction de son équipement personnel.
