I haven’t had a chance to really put this cross bar through its paces, but so far I’m impressed with the product. It looks nice, fits all my bikes, and is easy to use. I have no complaints and would definitely buy again. I would definitely recommend this cross bar to others.

Used this to transport my e-bike. I initally thought that it wouldn't handle the weight of the bike, it's around 30lbs. But it held up fine and worked great.

So, yes this is definitely used as you can see from the photos. There are a few scratches in one end. But, No biggie. I’ll keep it as it seems to not affect the functionality. It does have good quality material. I like the fact that the ends are plastic and won’t scratch the paint. It will be used to hold the bike down while in the carrier and not up. It only has a 33lb limit. I will not use this if I have the carrier which holds the bike up. The extender also does not have spring retraction. I used to have an Allen which had spring tensions.

works really well with my electric step thru bike. I have two bikes and on the bike carrier it secures the first bike like it had a top rail.

I have a bike rack with a men's and a women's ebikes on it. The re is a clamp which holds the top bar down to keep the bike in place which is great on the Men's model, so I needed this device for the Women's. I removed it from the box and put it on right away and then put the cover on the bikes and drove 200 miles in my 40' RV bus. It worked perfectly. When I got home, I found the instruction sheet in the bottom of the box. Never needed it. That easy to use! At the RV park several people asked me where I got it! Let me know when my commissions will start rolling in! LOLAfter looking at the similar devices I could have ordered, I wondered why I would have spent the additional $20 - $40 for? I'm not sure I would have gotten more for the additional money.

Very pleased with the overall quality and how the product performed on a 100 mile trip. There is a groove on the bottom that keeps the two pieces fairly stable, but for added piece of mind, I wrapped a bungee cord around the openings a few times after it was attached to the bike. I then grabbed the bar and shook it up and down and there was no movement at either end.The locking mechanism at both ends have a positive feel and there was no movement or scratching on my bike.I did move the reflector lower down the seat post to keep it from supporting the bike. We don't ride at night or on roads so it's not an issue.I didn't have any issue pushing down on the release button and was usually able to open it on the first or second try. This unit is about 10 to 15 dollars less than the models sold by Yakima or Thule and can't imagine why I would want to pay more for a name plate. If you need a bike bar, this is the one to get. Can't guarantee it will fit a small frame bike so read other users comments on that topic.Happy riding...
