We needed to add curtains to the back screen door. This did the trick and installed fast. Just pilot holes and a screw driver is all you need.

Some said the screws were breaking.?We pre drilled them and they were fine. They also came with these plastic pieces in the bag. They are to add to the rods for no snags. No instructions so some may not know that.We are very happy with them and no surprise since they are from Kirsch

Nice quality, well made. The sun can be quite intense through the side light of the front door. This is just what I needed to not go blind. However, after all the complaints about the screws breaking off, I just used my own rather than take the chance.

These rods are sturdy, but the their ends aren't smooth. I put masking tape over them to facilitate sliding through the curtain fabric. Also, I had to use a flat blade screwdriver to enable pushing the mounting bracket into the smaller rod end. Frankly, I'm not convinced these rods are worth their cost.

Rods are nice and low profile for door mounting. I would buy again, but hope mfr. improves the “cons.”Pros: strong square tube rods, coated/painted white. Will not deflect in middle (at this length) with a moderate amount of stretching. End mount hardware and screws included. Good for hidden mount.Cons: 1) screws are prone to breaking if not pre-drilled with 3/32” drill bit. Be sure to drill just deeper than screw depth. 2) rod ends I received were “rough” cut. Plan to file/finish before inserting curtain so not to grab/tear fabric.I used a file to de-burr and smooth the rod ends. Otherwise! I see getting poked or cut by the unfinished ends. Even with this, they were still a little bit “grabby” when sliding into the curtain pocket. I find it odd the manufacturer does not use a buffing finish step. For screws, I started pre-drilled, but with smaller bit. Even though I used a hand screw driver, two screws broke off while installing, and not a high amount of torque, and not even fully seated. Once I changed to a larger 3/32 inch drill bit, and using caution to stop as soon as they fully seated the bracket, no issue.Note: good if hidden, but be sure to get curtain pocket with adequate coverage. If not, please note these are unpainted/unfinished, and are not decorative themselves.

These rods are perfect. No instructions but it is super simple to figure out. Make sure the brackets are printing inward towards the center of the door. Took a few minutes to install. Drill pilot holes first for ease of getting the screws in. This is really sturdy. It is worth $20. I purchased cheaper and smaller rods for this purpose and they were too flimsy, so back they go. For reference, my door is 36 inch and full window panes.

They look a little cheap... well, they ARE cheap. The point is that they hang up your curtains and are out of sight. They hung up the curtains and I can't see them. Mission accomplished. 👍If they somehow break under the weight of a half pound curtain I will update this to 1 star.CAVEAT: Consider getting your own higher quality screws at the hardware store. Bring the ones that come with it and get a match. I somehow twisted the heads off of two of them. I am not a strong man. I am sweating profusely and will be sore tomorrow just from screwing in 8 screws. I'll be redoing the hanging job once i get new screws and when my power drill arrives. I imagine a power drill would've shred all of the screws had I used it tonight. Finally, a TIP: The clear plastic piece (one for each) goes over the small end, then you slide it over and fit it about halfway over the larger end in the middle. It's a support. Also, slide the pieces apart so the holes are on opposite sides. Then you can screw extra support into them or something. It was killing me that there were no clear descriptions of this anywhere on the internet and I had to strain my brain to its full potential to figure this out.
