I got these to hold curtains for the half-windows in French doors. They install easily and work well, but they won't take any handling before the rod pops off. That's okay in my application, since the curtains are held top and bottom and won't be moved, but I certainly wouldn't use them for any application where the curtains would ever be moved or pulled back.

This item is unusable junk. The rod and brackets arrived, so I removed the original curtain and rod. Well since this company has zero quality assurance, the rod I had, could not fit onto the included brackets. I tried to drill out the holes, but it still didn't work. Basically the holes on the rod were not large enough to fit over the hook on the mounting bracket. You can see where the metal is just ragged, and the product unrefined. Amazon was good enough to send me a replacement. I had already removed my original curtains, but couldnt rehang them; I was just out of luck. The second order had the exact same problem; the rod could not fit over the hooks, and the metal was all a mess inside the holes. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, hoping I had just received a bad order; I was wrong, its just a bad manufacturer. Dont waste your time or money on this defective product, find something else.

A little on the flimsy side, but gets the job done and is quite sturdy once in place. Installed within 10 minutes. The only thing i didnt like was the brackets were very small and it took some time screwing in the screws and managing a balancing act. I ended up putting a tiny bit of painters tape on the bracket so it stayed in place while inserting the screws

I used these to cover the window for my master bathroom door (not sure why the previous owner put a window door there). These are not the prettiest or sturdiest bars in the world, but I spray painted mine a matte black to match my decor and they work great! Just be sure to align the hooked parts either up (for the top) or down (at the bottom) to make sure they pull your curtain tight. I think if you put both the hooked parts pointing up, your curtain wouldn't stay put; I put the bottom one pointing down and so it hooks from the bottom and it's solid. I would buy these again.

I looked high and low trying to find rods and curtains for my French Doors to give me a bit of extra privacy for my study/art/music room. I couldn't find anything in the stores, which - shame on me - I should know better at this point. Amazon to the rescue. I wasn't exactly sure which rods to choose but my fiance is a professional carpenter and said these would be just as good as the more expensive ones and should do the job, so we got them.He put everything together and I honestly have no complaints, neither did he. It took him all of a few minutes and my woman cave was completely private. We ordered these curtains to seal the deal (or the door) and I'm really happy with both the curtains and the rods. I would absolutely recommend them. It's been a few weeks no and I have them on both the top and bottom and so far, so great!
