There's not enough padding on the part that clips to the bell. I had one of those flip books full of music on the lyre. The clip part ended up moving all around and leaving really bad scratches on the bell of my trumpet. Same thing happened to my brother's trombone bell.

I got this for my daughter who plays trombone. It attaches easily to the bell and seems very secure and solid. Will make it a lot easier for her to play sheet music when she doesn't have her music stand with her. Highly recommend!

My daughter needed one for marching band but this one ended up being too big. It's sturdy, but not adjustable. We ended up donating it to the band department. Hoping someone else can use it.
