It is too big for the Yamaha clarinet my daughter uses. It may fit other models. I had to order a different one for her to use in marching band because it would not work correctly. The music would fall and she constantly had to adjust it.

I bought this for my son to replace one that was lost. He demonstrated to me how this lyre is actually in the way of buttons on his clarinet that he needs to play his instrument. I decided to re look at my purchase this morning, and this flaw is even shown in the photographs for this listing on Amazon. Click on the 2nd photo and you can see that it is in the way.No point in giving it anything other than a 1 star, if it defeats the actual purpose of the item. Item made to hold music while player plays. Item then interferes with players ability to play. Make no sense.

Did not work, could not adjust properly

Pretty decent quality. However, we had to cut the rubber covers in order for it to fit the Buffet clarinet. And then it didn't work for us because it doesn't spin. So you can't get to the backsides of the pages of the flip book.

This didn’t fit around the right part of my clarinet and I had to put it around my barrel, causing scratches. Not fun.

DO NOT BUY! Amazon needs to remove sellers like this. And now that I just missed my 30-day return window... what a complete waste of money!

This lyre is sturdy but it is one that would fit a bass clarinet better but it is in good condition. It includes the grips in the part that wraps around the clarinet and it makes it way too big to go around the clarinet
