I wanted to move the spare wheel on my large (farm) trailer from the A frame to the side in front of the mud guard. This item made the process very easy and provided a firm and strengthened frame work for the wheel. My only minor criticism, it would have been nice to have had captive/lock nuts on top of flat washers. Not really a problem as I simply raided my store and put lock nuts on for antivibration and theft prevention. Excellent product well designed and delivered on time, well worth the money saved me fabricating something.

This tire carrier was shipped fast and it is solid as a rock! My tire doesn’t wobble at all. I opted to use better bolts to hold my tire to the carrier along with actual lug nuts. I’d definitely purchase this again. Great value for the money. Very happy with the purchase.I am adding to this review to say that if you are mounting the tire to the side of a trailer, you will have to bolt the wheel to the bracket "backwards" as you can see in the attached photo. Also, instead of using the skinny bolts that are included to affix the spare to the carrier, use regular wheel studs or 1/2" grade 8 bolts and regular lug nuts. It looks better and is certainly stronger. The bracket is well made but I was not overly impressed with the included bolts. Just buy the right bolts at your local hardware store. The carrier is still worth what I paid for it despite the substandard bolts.

Having recently purchased a new utility trailer I needed a spare tire mount. Nobody locally had one. Seems like a very well made mount. Only issue I had was the bolts for attaching the wheel to the mount. Just basic bolts were provided. They’ll work but I’d rather have actual lug nuts that match what’s on the trailer. A quick trip to my local trailer dealership and I had two 1/2”x20x 1.75” carriage bolts and lug nuts. Also had to enlarge the slots on the mount to fit the new carriage bolts. This is the best way to mount the wheel to the mount. No need for carrying extra tools to remove the spare. The mount is very universal and should mount up to just about any trailer frame. The mounting bolts come very long to cover varying thickness of trailer frames. I plan on cutting them down when I get a chance. Looks good. Very sturdy. One thing I won’t have to worry about is this mount breaking.

This product is well made and will hold a lot of weight. Works great on our farm trailer and nice to have a place to put our spare tire. Very easy to install in just a matter of minutes. The price was great and impressed that the quality was very high. Shipping was quick and product was as promised by seller. Will hold a variety of tires to is also a great feature. Highly recommend.

This spare tire carrier is just what we needed to be extra prepared! It is very durable and sturdy, made out of steel. It comes with all of the hardware, instructions and an easy setup! It holds tires up to 180lbs! It’s super affordable for the quality. I am excited to always have a spare tire on the car just to be safe.
