These are not overly complicated as to what they do, but they do it very well. I put a two spot e-clamp in my enclosed trailer and use this to hold the tire out of the weather.

I used these to mount my spare tire to the deck of my car hauler. The pegs don't match up quite perfectly when using an e-track with my 5 lug wheel, but I was able to secure the tire nonetheless. Came in handy since I don't have side rails.

I order this to hold a wheelchair in place in a van. The main hold down is 2 for of these with a bar though the 2 wheels to keep it from rolling but you do still need straps .
