Instead of having a professional carpet cleaner come in , I usually try to spot clean my carpet because it does not attract as much dirt that way. I use a tall handled brush and some warm water in a bucket. I spray the spots and then brush . Then put the brush in water and use it again to rinse the spot.

It is almost comical that this spray could not remove the yellow stains left behind from the Awesome spray. I have tried multiple times to remove the yellow stains left behind from the Awesome spray but this carpet cleaner is not up to the task. I have not tried it on other stains as that is the only purpose I had when purchasing this item.

This carpet cleaner is fantastic. I purchased this product to remove an old coffee stain from carpeting. I sprayed it on the affected area and let it sit for 5 minutes and scrubbed with a white cloth and blotted the excess liquid afterward as directed and after the carpet dried completely, 75% of the stain disappeared! I applied a second treatment using the same directions a week later and now my carpet looks like new!Highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking to remove difficult stains from carpet. I know that this will be my go-to carpet cleaner going forward!
