Easy to use, cleans up spots on carpet as advertised. Just spray it on weight a few minutes for it to soak in and wipe it up and spot is gone.

I have tried so so many brands and nothing can beat this. I can usually see the stain going away as I spray it, this stuff is amazing.

My misunderstanding. I thought this was for cleaning large areas of stained carpet. It is really best for spot stains, not large areas. When spraying, it covers about 1/2 inch spots.

This product is amazing! I sprayed it on my Auto carpet stain, went in the garage to get a rag. When I came back to scrub it, I couldn't even find the stain, it had disappeared !

This has been the best spot remover. The rental has light colored carpet, which does not work with animals and teenage girls. Zep has removed stains from makeup, blood, vomit, markers, red wine. I use it on laundry, mattresses, rugs, and obviously the carpet. The smell is strong but doesn't stick around after it has dried. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a good stain remover.

I have been using the Zep Carpet cleaners and have been very happy with them so I decided to try the spot remover. I had a large dirty spot on my carpet that was really bugging me and decided to try this spot remover on it. I had no idea what caused the dirty spot, but sprayed it with this spot remover. I rubbed it in and left it on for about 15 minutes and then pressed a damp towel on the spot. After it dried, I vacuumed the spot and it was gone.I will be trying this spot remover on other spots and get before and after pictures. I just wasn't expecting the great results that I got on the spot that I tried it on. This stuff really does work and I would recommend it.UPDATE 01/01/22:The most recent carpet stain was likely something spilled, but I don't know what it was. I have added before and after pictures, and the whole cleaning process took less than 10 minutes. I sprayed on the Zep Instant Spot Remover, rubbed it in a little with my fingers, left it for about 5 minutes, blotted the spot with a clean towel, and the spot was gone. Then I sprayed the area with clean water and blotted it again with a clean, dry towel. So easy and fast!!I hope this review was helpful for you.

I have used every product known to man that will completely remove a stain. I really wish I had discovered this years ago.My labrador retriever used to potty on the rug once in a while, it was a cream color and and was one of the best quality carpets. It had to be ripped up because nothing would work.I happened to try this originally from Home Depot and I was amazed. Cleaned stains out my father's Honda Civic. There were stains all over the seats, all gone. When we got our new house, my dog vomited on my carpet a few times and it was bright yellow. It completely removed the stain.I spray stain from all angles after I cleaned up the mess. About 10 minutes later, I got a clean damp cloth and basically stood on the stain with bounty paper towel, then I took a clean wet cloth that was ringed out so it was not soaking, rubbed the stain and blotted the carpet again with paper towels. Sometimes you have to do it twice.Cleaned a filthy couch at my son's house and he couldn't believe it. So, I ended up clean his wing chairs and now the living room is pleasant to sit in. This works on everything even my clothes stains.Zep just makes the best cleaning products ever.
