I bought this strat clone for my 13yo daughter. The sound from it is excellent at this price point. It does need some minor setup, but nothing crazy. Frets are smooth, action is acceptable, and the finish on the body is smooth. The neck is not too thick and the weight seems balanced. The supplied cable was dead on arrival, so i did need to replace that with a good quality cable, but that is not a deal breaker. The gig bag is cheap, but the capo is nice. The tuner is just okay. The spare strings and the ones shipped on the guitar are average at best, but not the worst. The stand is cheap, but not terrible. The practice amp works as good as you could want. The included strap is ugly, so we replaced that. I have no real complaints for this guitar at all. It’s everything a young aspiring musician could hope for and won’t break the bank in the inevitable event they manage to damage it. I don’t see any reason this guitar won’t last forever with proper care and use.

In my very unprofessional opinion, I’d recommend this as a beginner/starter kit but probably not a great pick if you’re more professional/serious about music or guitars. It comes with a lot of extras and everything works relatively well/sounds good but there are better alternatives: the picks are thin and kinda ugly, the strap is really stiff and uncomfortable, the amp is tiny and plastic, and the aesthetics/materials of everything are basically just passable.Very good priced and well thought out kit for someone who doesn’t have an electric guitar or doesn’t know much about them but not worth adding to a serious collection.Price when reviewed: $179.99

It's a great for beginners or anyone who just wants a guitar to have fun with sometimes. The guitar needs some adjustments to the string height, but it's good for the price.I was surprised by the quality of the amp. I live in an apartment and it has great volume. The drive works fine. The treble sound is very good and the medium sound is also good.Still in relation to the amp, the only negative point is the bass sound because it practically doesn't exist. It's bad, but nothing that affects the final experience too much, considering the cost vs benefit.Everything arrived correctly and well packaged.

Based on the description I had pretty high expectations, and I really wasn't disappointed, the neck feels great, the fretwork is well done, no cosmetic complaints. I bought this along with the strat version for the sake having something cheap to try a few mods on, now I need the tele version and then probably still at least 1 more. The accessories are nothing special, pretty standard, but I personally really like the little 5 watt amp as it's usb chargeable, and doesn't sound too bad at all.Honestly, if these guys made a bass I'd probably buy that too.

I am a beginner guitarist. There was something that caught my eye when I saw this . Most guitars have 3 , sometimes 4 rows of pickup coils This one has 5 pickup coils . What that means is that you get a more overall selection of pickup coils that give a more complete sound. The workmanship is great.

You guys really know how to build a great guitar! Tuned it up straight out of the box! I am very pleased.

I don’t play guitar but thought I would give it a go. Great price for what you get. Well built with a whole bunch of extras. Managed to tune it with the tuner. Nice little blue tooth amp, bag, stand and gear. Anyways good starter for me looks cool to.

This is a great guitar! I'm not joking, and would not post a positive review if I didn't mean it. I have been a guitar player for 30+ years, and own several guitars, so I have a bit of experience with them. Now, keep in mind, I am ONLY reviewing the one that I received. With some of these non-mainstream brands there are bound to be a few duds. Anyway, the fit and finish is fantastic! The roasted maple neck plays and feels great, and the fretwork is done well. (no sharp fret ends) The finish on the body is flawless, and the sculpted heel is a nice touch -- and, along with the roasted maple neck, is usually only found in much more expensive guitars. The pickups actually sound pretty good, too. (I'm not sure if they are ceramic or alnico, I haven't had a chance to peek under the pickguard yet). The output jack is on the outside edge of the body, which is also a nice feature. The tuning machines seem decent, and the guitar has stayed in tune once the strings stretched a bit. I like to tinker with, and mod less-expensive guitars, but I have had no reason or desire to change anything about this guitar -- I've just been playing it!As far as the included accessories go, the included gig bag is pretty good quality. Although it isn't super-thick, the padding is made from some pretty dense material, and should offer moderate protection at a minimum. The amp surprised me! The amp actually sounded great for its size! Both the clean and overdrive (distortion) settings sounded good! (Every other mini amp I have tried in the past has sounded like crap) The only issue with the amp is that the overall volume is low, even with the volume control set to maximum. They call it a 5-watt amp, but it is more like a 1-watt amp. It works great with a pair of headphones plugged into it, too. The other included accessories, (strap, cable, tuner, etc), are ok, and pretty average. Since I am not a beginner and have gear already, I haven't needed to use them, so I can't provide a concise review on that stuff. Overall I say that this guitar kit is a great buy! Even without the accessories, the guitar alone is worth the asking price. I would take this guitar over a Squire any day! Again, these opinions are based on the guitar kit I received...hopefully, if you buy one, you get one as good, or better.
