I liked the finish of the guitar. Couldn't be more pleased with this kit. Highly recommend this kit if you're a first time builder.

As a guitar luthier for years I know a few things about guitars. This was a kit that sounds good especialy after truss rod adjustment. However to wire the 3 way toggle switch the cavity was so small to run wires and it pulled off all wires causing me to re-wire all toggle switch wires.......If not for this I would I have given it 5 stars.

This is a no kidding solid carved, not steam shaped, top! Nicely done routing on the body, and the edging is consistant! Worth it for sure just for the body.

For the price this is a really good kit. Everything looks good but the holes that were drilled for the tuning peg screws are on the top of the head stock. It's an easy fix but hopefully the company catches this mistake before they make too many more like this...

Would recommend, very fun project to work on for a first time guitar kit builder. I had a slight issue with some of the hardware that came in the box, but when I reached out they sent me what I needed immediately. Will likely buy more from BexGears again in the future.

I didn’t have to do half the work that I had come to expect from kits. The frets didn’t require extensive work, the nut was cut properly, and overall the hardware and electronics quality was better than expected at that price. The veneer was a bit thin, so I would recommend using grain filler rather than extensive sanding - also when installing the knobs, be sure to brace the pot from the back as to not put too much pressure on the wood. The plug based wiring harnesses will also make it super easy to assemble for those that don’t have experience soldering. So happy with it that I’m making a second kit for my son.

Great kit, the body was routed well, the quilted maple top is beautiful, neck is straight, no sharp frets, 2 slightly high frets that I leveled and crowned, there was an issue with the tuners that their customer service took care of.

Kit was pretty easy. Body had to be lightly sanded. No problem so far as excess glue as I saw with other reviews. The wiring routes should be reeked larger. Tough to snake all the wiring with the connectors attached. That would eliminate any headaches I had. I did a ‘burst’ finish. Used typical clothing dyes, lemon, dk brown, orange to blend sunburst. Electronics work good, tuners ok.Sounds like a LP. All good, chk out pics
