I recently picked up the Donner DST-152 39" Electric Guitar, and I have to say—this is an incredible instrument, especially for beginners! Right out of the box, I was impressed by its sleek white finish, which looks absolutely stunning and gives off a clean, professional vibe. The build quality is solid, and it feels great to hold. When it comes to sound, this guitar delivers way beyond my expectations for its price range. The pickups produce a crisp and clear tone, making it versatile for different music styles. Whether I'm playing clean tones or adding a bit of distortion, it sounds fantastic. The neck is comfortable to play, and the fretwork is smooth, making it easy to move up and down the fretboard.Another great plus is that it comes with all the essential accessories, so it's truly ready to play right away. The included amplifier is decent for practice sessions, and the guitar stays in tune quite well.Overall, the Donner DST-152 is an amazing electric guitar for beginners or anyone looking for an affordable yet high-quality instrument. The beautiful white finish and excellent sound make it an easy 5-star purchase for me! 🎸🔥

So awesome beginner kit. Everything is great into this package. But I changed the strings for D'Addario 10-46, because the stock strings are too stiff for my taste. Also the guitar have a better sound with D'Addario strings. The guitar have an awesome sound and the guitar itself is high quality for the price. Also the paint job is so nice and so beautiful. The amp is tiny but it do the job to begin our beginner journey and it sound good. The overdrive in it sound good too. Also it come with a usb cable to recharge it and jack cable to play play-along tracks with our smartphone. But I will upgrade it for a Fender Frontman 10G for to have a better sound. The strap is pretty good. Enough tough for to be durable and enough soft for to be comfortable. I don't feel the need to change it for an all leather one. Also it have leather ends. The tuner is tiny but it do the job pretty well. The guitar picks come into 4 different thickness and seem pretty good. The guitar to amp cable have a good length and seem high quality. Thank you Donner for this so awesome beginner kit.

I am absolutely thrilled with my Donner Electric Guitar, model DST-152! As a beginner guitar player, I couldn't have asked for a better instrument to kick-start my musical journey. The sleek and stylish design initially caught my eye, and upon playing it, I was blown away by its impressive sound quality. The rich, resonant tones it produces are a delight to the ears and have motivated me to practice for hours on end. The smooth fret board and comfortable neck make it easy for me to navigate through chords and scales, enhancing my learning experience.Whether I'm strumming along to my favorite songs or experimenting with new techniques, the DST-152's versatility has exceeded my expectations. It's truly a fantastic guitar that has quickly become an integral part of my musical expression. In addition to the guitar itself, I also invested in a collection of 13 Donner pedals to create a dynamic pedal board setup for my gigs. This combination has taken my performances to the next level, allowing me to explore an array of captivating sounds and effects. Each Donner pedal enhances the character of my playing, from the subtle nuances to the bold crescendos. I'm able to effortlessly switch between different tones, giving my performances a professional edge that leaves a lasting impression on the audience. With the Donner Electric Guitar and my diverse pedal board, I'm not only equipped for success as a beginner, but I'm also confidently stepping into the world of live music with a setup that's as unique and innovative as my musical aspirations. The only CON is the machine heads or tuner clicks when I am tuning my strings. The strings stay in tune but the machine heads appear to have an internal issue which I cannot fix.Suggested upgrades:*Upgraded Tuning Machines:Consider brands like Schaller, Hipshot, or Grover for high-quality locking tuners.*Pickup Upgrades:Brands like Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, and EMG offer a wide range of pickups to suit different playing styles.*Custom Pickguard and Hardware:Brands like Pickguardian, WD Custom Pickguards, and Warmoth offer custom pickguard options. For hardware, options from Allparts, Gotoh, and Fender can be considered.*Nut Replacement:TUSQ and Graphtech are reputable brands for replacement nuts.*Effects Loop and Pedalboard Expansion:Brands like Boss, TC Electronic, Donner and Strymon provide high-quality effects pedals for an expanded pedalboard setup.Remember to research and choose the options that best match your preferences and playing style. These suggestions can help you further enhance your Donner Electric Guitar's performance and make it even more tailored to your needs. Some of these upgrades can be done yourself if you are confident in doing that otherwise seek out a professional guitar technician (luthier) for the setup. Or you can watch a bunch of YouTube videos.Otherwise for the money spent this is a great price point for a beginner guitarist.Thank you Donner!

TLDR: Good guitar, bad accessories, horrible stringsI am a novice adult guitar player (less than one year experience). After playing an acoustic, I wanted to try my hand at an electric. The guitar:I love the ice blue color. It looks very sharp. The guitar seems well made with no blemishes. The strings feel like they are a little thinner compared to what is on my son's squire. Controls all work well.Amp:The Amp is good for practicing in my room. It's not super loud, so don't expect to use it if you need to be heard over anythingTuner:It's not the best tuner, but it gets the job done. You have to strum the string pretty loud to get it to read. I have a better tuner from my acoustic that I use.Strap: I'm starting to get some frayed edges after a couple weeks worth of use and it comes off the guitar easily. I will probably get a new strap for this soon.Gig bag: this is my biggest disappointment among the accessories. First off, the bag is very loud and crinkly. I seems like it is padded with packing paper and makes a loud crinkle any time it moves. The most frustrating is the front pocket is just to small to hold a folder or music book. It would not have taken that much more to make this pocket big enough.ETA: I have been playing this for about 6 months and wanted to give an update. It has been playing as well as my beginner skills can make it play. I got a new strap and tuner for it. The biggest thing I have noticed is the stock strings are horrible. The high strings felt like they were going to cut into my fingers. If you get this, Also get a new set of a good, name brand string and swap it out right away. I just put on new strings and it feels so much better when I play. I wish I did it sooner.
