Excellent tool kit that works well.I use these on a daily basis, the quality is very good and the set is a comprehensive collection of most sizes of damaged threads you’ll find on automotive applications.I use these tools on a daily basis, don’t need imperial size drill bits has some have said, just use the equivalent or closest match metric drill. They fit all threads not just imperial threads! It’s the tool that removes the broken threads or seized bolts in the hole you’ve drilled, also you don’t need a left handed drill bit as I have seen in some reviews, made me laugh really. If you can’t remove the broken bolt or screw with this set you’re more than likely not using the tool correctly. All in all a good quality product at a reasonable price.

Haven't gotten to use them yet, but it's a nice, sturdy-looking set of easy-outs. I ordered them so I'll have them when I need them. Plenty of size options are available.

Stripped a bolt on an expensive item, unable to get the bolt out. Tried multiple tricks I found on YouTube and the internet, none of them worked. On a whim, tried this tool and within 2 minutes the bolt was out. Now, to find a replacement bolt. Great tool, glad I purchased.

I bought this set to remove a differential drain plug on a Toyota Tacoma that had a 10 mm hex Allen-head plug which had been rounded out. The 15/32" extractor worked like a charm. I lightly tapped it into place with a hammer then used a ratchet to remove the plug. It gripped the rounded-out hole easily and made the job a breeze. Reading online, others had resorted to welding a nut onto the plug, but this extractor was much faster, easier, and less expensive. I like the fact that either a 3/8" ratchet or an open-or box-end wrench can be used, depending upon the situation. Highly recommended.

I have purchased multiple Topec Extractor sets since February 25, 2021. I have the 5-Piece Heavy Duty Nut Bolt Remover set, 18-Piece Stripped Bolt Extractor Kit, 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set, 13pc 2-in-1 Screw Extractor Set and a second 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set. These have been being used daily in my two shops without fail. The material is of high quality and have never once had a tool fail or break during use. All the sets come in a nice sturdy case that keeps all pieces in order. I have had some of my workers loose or misplace a few pieces from the sets but after reaching out to Topec, they provided a way to get me the replacement pieces which was great. Overall, great quality tools at very good prices that will do exactly as described, if you know what you are doing and how to do it!

TOPEC SHOULD LIVE IN THE MODERN WORLD!!! THESE ARE IMPERIAL UNITS WHICH WILL NEED IMPERIAL DRILL BITS to do the job properly. I couldn't use these TOPEC tools as The DEWALT DRILL BITS would not even make a mark in the material. YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF USING YOU FINGER or a slightly sharper object of a Banana or may be a Cucumber!!!!!!

I had a stuck drain plug on my Polaris Ranger that I could not get out. I hammered this in to the stuck plug and attached a ratchet to it and it came out super easy. I highly recommend.

These extractors are extremely useful. Small increments in sizing ensures you will find the perfect size for the job. I did twist one off with a 3/8" drive socket. I learned that these seem to be case hardened, meaning soft inside, but the working surface is very hard. They bite really well, and I believe the working surface will hold up well, even under frequent use. Just be advised that they aren't indestructible, you can overpower them if pushed too far. I had an unusually tight (frozen from galvanic corrosion) set screw. Under most conditions, these will be very effective and extremely useful.

I seldom write 1 star reviews. Matter of fact I can’t remember the last time I did so.Just hoping this review will help others.I bought this kit because I needed to extract a bolt that snapped off in a steering knuckle. Drilled it out as big as possible without compromising the walls. These extractors punched in very easily. Just a couple quick light taps with the handle of a screwdriver and it was secure. I started to crank it counter clockwise and it bit into the bolt very nicely. I was impressed up to this point.I then used a rachet and started the precedure and felt in my hand a slight twist and bam, extractor broke off. This was just done with a rachet, by hand. I wonder if an impact wrench would have been better? Maybe not. I can understand if I was using an extension bar, but wasn’t.As you all know, once an extractor is broken off in a bolt, the problem just got 10 times worse. I ended up just buying a new steering rack and swapping that.So now I’m stuck with an extractor set with one broken size. I suppose the others will be put to use when the time comes, but I’d be hesitant to even use these. So just a heads up, if the bolt you’re working on isn’t seized (mine was yes, but I had PB Blaster soaked it overnight and also used torch and candle wax on it), then maybe these will work. But if it’s seized, spend the extra money on a more trust worthy product. It’ll save you extra headache. Good luck!
