1. This item does not fit the Trek FX+ 7S. It's too narrow. I had to use a bunch of zip ties to fasten it in place.2. Two of the screws were missing. I went to Lowe's thinking I could just pick up a couple of extra screws (faster than ordering a replacement, as this item took several days to arrive), and then discovered that one of the nuts that the screws are supposed to go into was ALSO missing. So one of the fasteners would've been completely useless, if I'd wanted to use them (instead of the zip ties).I saw one of the other reviews mention that two screws were missing so this doesn't seem to be a one-time issue. Buyer beware.

This product does exactly what I need it to. Love my Trek ebike but the rack that came with it would not accommodate my Topeak trunks. This works well.

This makes it possible to convert your existing rear rack to work with topeak bags. Mine required longer bolts to make it work with my rear rack.

Light weight, good fit, easy to install.i installed this on the narrow MIK rack on my Trek Allant 7. It is adjustable and fit perfectly. My Topeak MTX trunk bag with panniers slides in smoothly and is held tightly. For around $20 I can move my bag between bikes. Well worth it!

This rack can be fitted to any back rack if the brackets they give you do not work just drill holes and bolt it in place. Very simple to install and allows me to have 1 Topeka bag that I can share between 2 bikes. Topeka did a very nice job with the quick clip release system, very pleased, and recommend.

I've been using Topeak track system for a while (with a basket), and has the full rack on my old bike. The new eBike I got, Aventon Level.2 (love it), came with a super sturdy rack, so I got this adapter to keep using my basket (and the new DXP bag I got). But unfortunately, the rack is just wider than the max width of the 2 adapter clamps, the screw holes of the rack also don't match up with the track ones well. So I can barely get it to install, but any bump on the road will cause the adapter to fly off.I did solve it by reading a lot of posts on reddit where people used 4 zip ties to secure the adapter onto the rear rack. I used 8, 4 to hold it to the side rack, 4 more to hold it front/back direction. This might not be a problem with other racks, but be aware that there are racks out there that are wider than this adapter can install on without zip ties!

Does not fit my rack. I thought Ok no problem I'll just return it. BUT no I have to pay postage to return it plus 20% restocking fee. This same adapter can be purchased in Vancouver area at Citebike for $24.99. I paid $51.94!! Also on Amazon it sells for $32.61. I bought this from Layger - buyer beware

After purchasing this rack, I found it not to fit in between the slats of my rear rack. Unfortunately, I have to return this because it does not fit. They don't make them for a regular bike. You make it for kids, bike or something cause it doesn't fit far enough, measure your stuff before you Buy one for me. There is no fix for it unless you're in Europe.

This is just what it purports to be - a way to adapt a different brand of bike rack to use the Topeak quick lock rail system. It doesn't fit every rack out of the box, but then again as there is no standard for design that is just the way it is. Anyone with a bit of experience and some hand tools can figure out a way to attach this securely, and for some applications the mounting points will work out fine.As I love my Topeak bike bags (having used them for over 25 years) this lets me continue to use my current bags on different racks and have the ease of use and secure connection to the rack that I enjoy with Topeak bike racks. I've used other bags and basically they really aren't very good - velcro that starts to lose its grip after a year or so, and fixture points that inevitably allow the filled bag to shift over and dangle precariously to one side or another or just dump my cargo off the bike.

I already had 2 Topeak metal racks on my older bikes. But the new one had a factory rack that is too hard to remove (and wiring runs through the rack too). I still wanted to use my Topeak bags and I found this add-on part to attach to my bikes factory rack. It works great! I did need to modify the front screw support to fit my fender cure, but no big deal. I also found the plastic slider to be much quieter than the metal version when riding on bumpy roads. 5 stars!
