I wanted a basket for my bike, but first I needed a rack to attach it to. I’m somewhat handy, but this was my first bike rack install. It was easy, even though I had to reference pictures from the listing to understand how some pieces fit together.PROS- great quality- easy to adjust and make level- works great- looks great- lightweight but sturdy- reflector- fit wellCONS- instructions lackingIf you are looking for a bike rack, this is a great option.

Frame arms four inches to short. They should have been the same length for sturdyness. The longer the shaft, the more stable it would be and give needed support.

Finally an option that actually fits and you don't have to bend the rack to get it to install. So many of those big brands are just not great and have to be flimsy so you can "adjust" them to fit. This is the solid solution and works on a MTB, Beach Cruiser, and road bike without having to bend anything.

This is one with great feature and economics optimized into one. Installation is quite easy if you're only dealing with a common chassis city or mountain bike. Watch out because most fat tires and suspension bikes won't work with these due to physical construct. On my mountain/city bike, it's a breeze to install without any issues. The only issue I did run into is having to relocate the rear light because the frame of this rack is stabilized by anchoring to the bike's seat holster tube. And that's where my automatic brake light is installed, so I had no choice but to move it and I designed and 3D-printed something to mount it behind this rack and make it all work.Everything turns out great and the rack does appear very strong. Not sure if it will counter 110 lbs, but with all the attachments secure and tight, it does seem very stiff and tough. I also appreciate the girdles which will prevent flaps from being chewed up by the tire. This thing is aluminum and very light weight, so it won't impact your overall loading by much if you go with this one. I do highly recommended this rack if you're looking for a budget bike rack.

This rear tire bike cargo rack looks like excellent quality and feels very well-made. The description says it can bear loads up to 110 pounds and I believe it! It’s built with thick and sturdy materials and feels really strong! The supports and attachment hardware are all adjustable so it fit on my bike and rear support braces perfectly. I was able to set it up so that it was perfectly level. I put some heavy weight on it and it held firm! I like that it includes the “W-shaped” side wings to protect my bike panniers from going into the back tire area. The black powder coat finish on it is shiny and looks very protective, too. And it even includes a reflector on the back. Very good product!

The clamp is too big for my road bike seat posts but it does come with rubber grommets. I'm not a huge fan of the multi part supports they work fine but are bulkier than other racks I have owned. Its really an asthetic thing because you wouldnt see them if you had panniers on which would hide them. No instructions in the box but this isnt rocket science.

I primarily just wanted a cheap, reasonably sturdy rear rack for my mountain bike. This rack fits that description perfectly. While the rack itself feels sturdy (even if lightweight), the support rods and pannier bars inspire less confidence -- especially the pannier bars, which feel like they will bend under even modest load. I don't have pannier bags yet, so I can't say for sure.As others mentioned, there are no instructions included. It's not difficult to figure out how to put things together, but I really would have preferred some instructions and maybe a diagram to help with installation. Installation was a little bit fiddly, due to the fact that there are about 10 different nuts and bolts that you have to tighten down. None of these have locking washers either, so I would recommend going back to retighten everything periodically. If you ride your bike out in the elements, I think it's reasonable to expect that the fastening hardware will eventually corrode. In that case you might only get a couple years of service life out of this rack, and you will have to deal with rust stains and the like. I typically don't ride my bike in wet conditions, and I think with some care and maintenance, this rack and all of the hardware should last for several years at least.I would take the 110 pound capacity with a huge grain of salt. For use in carrying groceries with pannier saddle bags, I would feel more comfortable at about half that limit. I would not attempt to install a rear seat to carry a human under any circumstances.3.5/5 stars. It's a basic, no-frills rear rack. Completely acceptable performance and price for what you get, but the overall quality isn't super impressive. If you don't need to carry anywhere near the stated capacity, and you don't mind periodic maintenance/tightening of the fasteners, I think its a pretty good value at the current $30 price.
