Wow! I bought this with low expectations. I work for Square D, we do bus and retrofills on old gear. This are life savers! My Milwaukee bits overheat, dull and break! All the time. But this set are indestructible. I have never drilled through copper bus with and impact- like drilling through butter. I told my coworker, I had to review this product. Had to make 4 holes on double 1/4 inch copper bus! Pre drilled, Milwaukee was struggling and broke a few! Installed the stepbit, it was probably hungry cuz it ate the copper! Definitely buying again! They are still sharp! And strong!

I have yet to put this step drill to the test, but my initial impression is that it is well and will provide good service for the homeowner or hobbyist.

I had to widen 8 holes on a piece of cold rolled steel I first bought a Milwaukee Drill bit from Home Depot and it barely scratched the steel plate.I connected this drill bit toy impact drill and it went to work chewing through the metal with ease.Great value and excellent step drill bit. Works better that I thought it would.

These relatively inexpensive bits outperform very high dollar carbide machinist bits, and other much more expensive cobalt bits. The cut so fast that the material barely has any chance to get hot which makes them last forever. I've been using them not for several months and I am very sincerely impressed. It's really hard to trust sellers these days. I think I paid 60 bucks to try them in my body shop just as a chance they might work on the lighter sheet metal and they performed so well and lasted so long I have started using them in my machine shop. They are suitable for cutting harder than mild steel, alloys and stainless with no issue whatsoever. I cannot speak highly enough of how surprised and utterly impressed I am with the performance. The most surprising part is the cost! They are the cheapest bits I own and they are also the best drill bits I own! I'm putting together a list to start replacing my professional machinist quality drill bits with these as they go bad and dull. They cost less than sharpening my bits and I have yet to dull any of these as of yet. Very surprised, impressed, and happy with them! I wish more things were like this. I'm happy I took a chance and bought these taking a low risk chance that had really taught me a wonderful lesson.

I've only used it once so far but it worked perfect cutting through 1/16 mild steel. There was no wobble, they're extremely sharp, and of course if you know how to use a drill you'll know it's easy to install.

Worked great for about 6 holes but I could tell it was wearing down. Did not over heat the bit and used cutting oil

After quickly wearing out a titanium coated drill, this bad boy had no trouble at all drilling out holes in 12-gauge sheet steel.
