Looked at so many of these towers for my grandson. We settled in this one and are so happy with it. It easily converts from the tower to the desk. It works great to help help him reach the faucet to wash his hands. Then easily moved and reconfigured as the desk, which he loves to play on and eat on. He likes going in to sit down and it’s very secure. We all appreciate the cute animal cut outs on it too. The latches are solid and work well. Fast shipping and received in good condition. We are very happy with this!

had to stop assembly because one of the holes was too small for the required screw and when I forced it in, the wood began to splinter... so have to drill it to accommodate the piece. Disappointing.

My daughter is a year and a half old and loves this chair/step stool. It's really cool that she can stand in the kitchen and help us and also have a little desk to eat at and do activities on. It feels pretty sturdy as long as it's pushed up against a counter which is how it was intended. She can climb easily in and out and we're happy it has the 2 in 1 feature.

Bought this because it solves 2 issues! Nice little “desk” and a step stool my daughter can use independently. Lightweight to move around but sturdy. Assembly took a little time but it was pretty simple and easy to do on my own! Would recommend for anyone with toddlers!

In my family, I’m the only person with the patience to assemble ikea or Chinese furniture kits, so I have a fair amount of experience. This child’s stool/desk kit is well designed and, in my opinion, well engineered. The wooden parts went together easily, and the wide thread, hex head screws (Allen wrench provided in kit) felt very secure. The directions seemed pretty clear to me.My only complaint is with the 20 screws that attach the latches to the wood. They are small Philips head screws (smaller than a number two Philips) and the screwdriver in the kit is small, a bit hard to hang on to. Screws in kits like this are often made with a soft cheap metal that strips easily. Sure enough, I stripped two of them, but fortunately the kit came with a couple extras. All in all, a well made product. The safety and ruggedness testing will be done by my two year old grandson. Hope this helps!

Update - the seller reached out that it was a one off factory error and was kind to resolve the issue. Overall the product is sturdy and fun for kids, so long as you are able to assemble it properly.Original review -I was excited for this one as my toddler is usually very curious to see what's going on in the kitchen and I knew she'd really enjoy this tower. The instructions were not very detailed and it took me a few hours to put most of the tower together and then I realized that one of the pieces that supported the step of the tower was defective. It had no holes drilled on it and the screw that fixed it to the rest of the tower was also faulty. The latches that hold it as a tower did not fit well. Overall it was a huge disappointment after all the time I put into it. There is an email on the instructions sheet to reach out in case of issues, when I did, I received an auto-response saying the mailbox is full! Another bummer. I have no choice but return it for which I need to unassemble the whole thing and package it. A huge waste of time!
c'est la vie🎉😘
