I think Dawn dishwashing liquid cleaned just as well as this product. Honestly, the best cleaner was just some good, old-fashioned scrubbing. It might depend on what you're cleaning. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so was scrubbing up what looked like algae and dirt.

This worked great on my Timbertech deck. After you apply this cleaner...ie..scrub with a brush ..it needs to be rinsed and then dry mopped ...My deck is 5 years old and after cleaning it ..it looks like new!I was hoping to use the 1 Gallon for more than one cleaning but the deck was pretty dirty. I will definitely buy this cleaner again! I wish it was less expensive.

This product did work as advertised. I think it was easy to follow the directions for mixing and the use of a scrub brush and it made quick work of cleaning my deck. Doing it in small sections worked well for me with washing it off before moving to the next section. It did remove the green mildew I had that was starting on my deck. This product I would recommend for Timber Tech decks.

Given the price of the investment in timbertech decking we chose to use the recommended product. Not only does it clean nicely but we noticed a nice sheen when it dried. Some reviews indicated you could use other household products but I don't know that you would get the sheen.

Great product for railings and deck. I used a soft bristled long-handled brush to clean my railings, deck, and some house siding. Mildew melted away with little scrubbing and I was able to remove a tough charcoal grease stain on the deck after letting the solution sit on the stain for 5 minutes. Initially, I was a bit put off by the price of the cleaner, but I was able to clean my entire deck and railings with a little less than 1 gallon of mixed solution (i.e., 1 qt of the cleaning concentrate). That is only about $10 for the entire deck, and it was quicker than using a power washer. I am sold on this product.

The downside to this product is the price. I'm not sure what extra cleaning you get from paying $40 plus dollars. Having said that, it cleaned my deck and while I didn't get 1000 sq feet of cleaning from the gallon of cleaner. ( maybe 750 at most) it was easy to use.

This stuff worked like magic. Wasn’t sure how much cleaner I’d need so I mixed up about a gallon of cleaner (1 part solution, 3 parts water) in an applicator bottle and washed our 200 sq foot deck. Literally finished the last fascia board with the last pump in the sprayer. We have heavy clay soil in our area and it had been caked on the deck (Azek Vintage) a mop and warm water wasn’t cutting it so I thought I’d give this a shot since its a cleaner designed for our specific decking material. Sprayed the solution on pretty generously to about 6-8 boards at a time, let it sit for about 60 seconds, hit it with stiff, natural fiber brush recommended on the bottle. Rinsed with a good powerful hose nozzle and poof, deep clay stains gone! Was really happy to have not had to use the pressure washer. The deck looks incredible and bright. You don’t realize how much dried dirt and foot traffic dulls the color and I gotta say, I’m sold on this stuff!!

Bought the TimberTech Composite Deck Cleaner for my TimberTech deck. Never write reviews, but in this case, it is definitely warranted. Not only is it ridiculously overpriced, it’s also utterly ineffective too. I would never waste the money buying this product again.
