Once I filtered out the lumps, the product works as advertised. The fence looks good. I'm sure the color is lighter as much of the pigment was discarded as lumps. I would buy it again and have now that I know that I have to filter out the lumps of pigment.

I am very satisfied with the color. Did need three cans though. But it went on easily making it easy to apply. Follow instructions and you too will have a nice project you. Ca be proud of.

I've not been super thrilled with the product. It's pretty thick and has a lot of pigment (reddish orange) for a transparent stain. But, my real problem is the state that my 5 gallons arrived in. See pictures. Tracking tells me this item came via USPS from Graham NC to Roanoke VA. I've talked with Amazon before about a problem with a package from Graham NC and they said it is not their facility, but a USPS facility. I'm not sure why they would manhandle a package in this way. I've also had problems with the Graham facility and packages not arriving on the day promised. It's really getting bad. I'm wondering if this is happening to others.

I have used Thompson's deck stain in light cedar for years. Easy to apply and very attractive results. However, it is not a 'barely there' stain as the can suggests. You get a nice, rich cedar look, not just a tint, at least this has been my experience.

This is an amazing product! The color goes on a light peach color, but then darkens as it dries. It’s easy to add a second coat as long as you do it quick enough. If you wait too long, it will just bead up. Great water repellent.

Lijé muy bien el piso con pulidora, apliqué con brocha y listo, queda mate, casi no cambia el color original de la madera cruda del deck, no queda pegajoso, seca rápido, se ve muy bien.
