Quickly and easily give your wood projects a beautiful, rich color with Minwax Wood Finish. This oil-based wood stain enhances the natural wood grain in just one coat and resists lapping for an even color. It’s perfect for interior wood projects such as unfinished wood furniture, cabinets, doors, trim, molding and floors, and can work on any bare or stripped wood surface. The special formula allows it to deeply penetrate wood pores within 5 minutes of application, and it dries in as little as two hours, making it possible to stain wood in just one day. To apply, just use a clean cloth or wood stain brush and apply in the direction of the grain. Wait 5-15 minutes and wipe away excess stain. The longer you wait, the darker/richer the color. I had read reviews that said this product shows up more orange on certain types of wood, which is actually what I was looking for. But I’ve shown comparison between my results and the color on the can for others to see. I used birch and pine wood to make these shelves.

I like that this matches my tables exactly and is very thick with one cost only. I like that it dries in 2-4 hours but not immediately so it can effectively be spread and wiped.

Like the product and got it on a deal. Because of the price I was willing to accept that the can was totally rusted on the bottom and I will have to repackage the product into another can for that reason. Needed it at that time so happy to have it. Worked well and looks good after satin varnish on top. Recommend.

Stripped back an old timber dining table. Stained using this product before sealing over. Great product which worked well - black with grain visible. Researched a lot to select Winwax over locally available products - glad I did. 5 stars.

Makes a nice dark chocolate brown tone. If you swipe this onto unfinished wood and immediately wipe it off, you can still see the wood grain texture. Really nice colour!

This stain was not the color that it was supposed to be, and all 3 cans came dented and the box they came in was completely torn and open on one side of the bottom, and I was expected to pay for the return freight. I received absolutely no help from Express Hardware that provided this stain. I will never order this kind of product again via internet.
