This product was at least three degrees warmer than the other three devices I used to compare it too.

These work exactly as described. I had some problem getting two sensors to pair with the base station and had to adjust the channel selectors several time to find the one that would work. I suspect the base station was picking up a neighbor's device. Once paired, however, these work flawlessly.Readings are not instantaneous. If you move a sensor from outside to inside (say from a 30 degree F to a 70 degree F environment) it takes a few minutes to see the results at the base station.

The unit does a good job of letting us know the temp and humidity in our crawl space so that we can activate a heater to prevent freezing. Reliable, accurate and easy to set up with WiFi. Batteries last about a year. The app is easy to use and readily displays both temp and humidity. Perfect for our needs.

ThermoPro makes excellent instruments and this model is, in my opinion, the best of what is available. It's accuracy is excellent (tested with a Fluke, traceable to NIST), it can display the readings for 3 different sensors from anywhere on my property, the numbers are large enough for me to read without my glasses and, best of all, it can can change the sensor displayed, the reading in F or C and illuminate the display light right from the FRONT of the of the display touch screen. This feature alone is worth the price of admission! What it doesn't do is hopelessly complicate it's display and set up with what for most people useless information.

I got this to use in our camper and I’ve been testing it at home against our weather station. The ThermoPro has been consistently within about 1°-2° F of our at home station. The humidity readings diverge by about 10%. Both the temperature and humidity differences are present in both indoor and outdoor readings. However, it is a consistent difference which is a good thing. The connection to the outdoor unit occurred quickly without me having to tinker with anything, and the connection is solid at about 50 feet. I have not tested at a greater distance. The display is easy to read during the day, and the backlight is really good if you want to see the readings without turning on a light. You do have to push a button to turn on the backlighting, but that’s what we wanted. There are already too many LED / LCD displays, buttons and status lights on at night in the camper without adding to the interior light pollution. The magnet holds firmly to our microwave door, and the little “kick stand” functions properly as well.I think this is a good little item for travel, or if you just want or need a minimalist indoor-outdoor thermometer and humidity gauge.

I like the easy set up and accuracy (so far). Only one flaw for me is that the min -max of humidity and temperature only registers for the last 24 hours and I would prefer one that hold the reading over several days till I reset it. There is no mention of using lithium batteries for the outdoor sensor like other similar devices. It is suppose to help in cold climates.

When I received this thermometer, the first thing I did was plug the remote sensor in overnight so it could charge. I then installed the sensor under a covered porch, and hung the base station in my kitchen. Everything worked really well for the first month, until yesterday when I saw - - on the base station indicating a loss of connection with the remote sensor. The sensor was off and would not turn on, so I re-read the reviews "8-12 month battery life" and frustratedly put it back on the charger. The red LED illuminated for maybe 2 seconds, then turned off. I re-read the manual "Sensor will show BLUE light when fully charged" and recalled that I never experienced this when I charged it the first time. I tried multiple USB-C cords, and discovered I had to hold the plug in at just the right angle for the red light to come on steady indicating a charge, and that it had never charged correctly the first time. The connector must be loose, and the quality control must have been poor. Of course, my return window closed 2 days ago. If you purchase this, make sure the base station charges until the light is BLUE or you may have a defective unit!
