Product Description

Created by a doctor and physical therapist, the Neck Hammock was an invention born out of necessity. While neck and back stretches and exercises can help tremendously, we always see that cervical traction is what gives our patients the most relief. The problem is that most cervical traction equipment is too expensive and too bulky to take with you on the go. With the Neck Hammock, you've got an amazingly relaxing and relieving cervical traction method that you can easily take with you anywhere.

Created by a doctor, the Neck Hammock is a relieving cervical traction method for people on the go.
For muscle, neck & shoulder pain, and tension headaches. Improves posture, sleep, and stress levels
Includes straps, neck hammock and travel pouch. Hammock should rest about 2-4 inches off the ground
Say goodbye to neck pain! Get the relief you deserve anytime, anywhere.
Only use for 15 minutes at a time. Secure on stable objects only. Read setup instructions carefully

Fantastic results! Relieves tension on my neck prior to PT and on days of total tension. I’m aware that it may not last forever and may need to replace it but so far, I’ve used it everyday for 2 weeks and going strong!

I have been waking up at night because of pain in my neck… I have only used this twice so far for 10-15 minutes and it has already made a huge improvement in my neck. It has already relieved so much tension and pain. Would highly recommend to anyone! I might have to start using it at night before bed though because it does make me feel tired and relaxed after using it.

I can definitely feel the relief in my neck when I use it, I just wish it was more adjustable. Hanging it from the doorknob doesn't give a whole lot of resistance, even on the shortest setting. It would be great if you could adjust it from both ends to have it sit higher up for more traction. Right now I can kind of get more by sliding myself away from the door, but that also doesn't seem to cradle my head as well

Trying to find a suitable door knob was the hardest thing about the whole set-up.I set this up in my "yoga room" (all-purpose room). I used an exercise mat to lay on because the floor is tile with no carpeting. Using the room door wasn't an option because I never close the door to this room. I have 3 closet doors and the knobs are actually levers with no levers or knobs on the inside. Also the doors open into the room. My solution was to slip-knot the top of the sling over the lever, put my mat at an angle and adjust the hammock so it hangs just off the mat. It was so comfortable laying there. It was like "corpse pose" at the end of yoga.I watched some videos afterwards to see how other people set up the hammock. One person put the anchored the top end in the door jamb above the middle hinge. I'll try that next time. I noticed that this same person had his head in the hammock with the rounded part on the top. I believe the rounded part goes by your nape as shown in the instruction manual.Since it's not recommended to stay suspended for more than 15 minutes at a time I'm going to set "Alexa" to give me a 15 min. timer. It's easy to just doze off in this hammock.I want to have my husband give this a try but he can't easily get on the floor or back up again. Any suggestions?

The unfortunate thing about this is there's no way to really evaluate the tension. I have a dance background and am used to pushing myself in stretches or else I don't feel anything. I mistakenly did that with this device and ended up giving myself horrible rhomboid pain that lasted for days. This isn't to say it can't be helpful! Just be careful.

When neck decompression was recommended to me for pain relief, I heeded the many online warnings against buying anything but the original Neck Hammock because using cheap knockoffs could result in injury. Despite that, after setting up my neck hammock, I was only 10 seconds into finding that perfect position when I was SLAPPED in the FACE with an elastic cord!!! We're lucky it hit me between the eyebrows and not in the eye!!! The morning after I had tenderness where it slapped me and a headache. The photo attached shows the bad stitching where the elastic detached from the rest of the strap.I sent an email to the customer support included in the package. NO RESPONSE!

This thing hurt so bad at first. I couldn’t stay in it for more than a minute and was tempted to never use it again. Unfortunately my neck pain is so bad I was willing to try anything again and the next few times I noticed near immediate relief. I lost my first one somehow but this bout of neck pain was so bad I ordered another. I just laid down with it and I seriously don’t know how I’ve gone this long without it again. The price does make you second guess the purchase but it’s totally worth it if you have neck and shoulder pain due to tense muscles and stress.

Whilst the theory behind the Neck Hammock is sound, it is let down in its practical application by the lack of a metal cradle or stand from which the hammock can be attached and hung. It is acknowledged that the hammock can be hung from a door handle or railing however a practical and suitable location which is without impediments is sometimes difficult to find to effectively hang the hammock from. The availability of a support in the form of a cradle or stand would overcome this problem and make the product far more user friendly and ensure the device could be used from any location. Interestingly, a cheaper knock off or copy of the neck hammock has such a supporting cradle and it is easy to see that it is far more user friendly and practical than the neck hammock which does not have a similar support or cradle available.

I never write reviews but I have to about this. I am so grateful, I finally am getting some relief in my neck pain. The first day I used it I laid in it for 15 minutes and that night noticed my shoulder tension (which is a lifelong battle to manage) gone. Completely gone. My mom used to joke that she could bounce quarters off my traps because they were so tight and they actually relaxed. My neck pain that's usually around my C2 to C4? Gone. I used to get put in traction at the chiropractor but I can't afford to go anymore. I am so happy I got this I could cry. My migraines have decreased in frequency, my upper back pain and neck pain is managed by taking some "me" time to lay down, and I can feel it starting to slowly help stretch throughout my spine with repeated use. I love that you adjust the tension by how far away from the door/wall you lay. It's a no brainer to set up, and they didn't short change you on the inner padding. Three huge foam pads hug your head gently. As I said at the beginning of this, I've never written a review before. I had to for this, it's the best choice I've ever made to help manage my neck pain and my migraines. I can't sing this company's praises enough.
