The item arrived new, although clear box looked very dusty/dirty from shipment from USA. I immediately returned the item because the Thalia Capo comes with only 12" fretboard radius fretpads which would not fit my 15" fretboard on Taylor acoustic. The seller should have pointed out only 12" fretpads are provided, but other music sellers in UK selling the same product include multiple sized fretpads as per Thalias main USA website. Hope this helps others looking to purchase.

It's expensive for one so you expect superior quality and this just isn't it the inlay is a stick on and it's easy to tell as it isn't stuck down square. Also it's hard mechanism to work with one hand, I'd expect it to be easier, returned.

The product is above standard. I mean it’s beautiful. However, if you like to be able to place your capo on the headstock of your guitar, it won’t do that. And the thing that bugs me the most is that the photo and the copy of this add make it seem like you get two but you only get one. The number two in the copy refers to the two pads that you get. So while it’s not false advertising, it is a little bit misleading in my option to have two of them in the photo. I find that a bit manipulative and greedy personally. That being said it is beautiful and I look forward to using it. But it is annoying that it won’t squeeze onto the headstock

This model does not come with all the inserts needed to function correctly. I received two inserts for the capo. Unfortunately they are both 12". That is great if you only have one guitar and it has a 12' radius fret board. This capo will work fine on a Gibson. Not worth a plug nickel on a Martin or any other guitar that has a 16" radius or any other measurement. I purchased a Thalia Capo from "Thalia and received all the possible sizes in two different styles of inserts. Spend the extra $10 bucks and get the better Capo directly from Thalia.HEY, GUITAR MAN. PLEASE SEND ME A 16" INSERT SO I CAN USE THIS ON THE MARTIN D41 I BOUGHT IT FOR. I will gladly update this review if they send me the required part needed for this capo to function correctly.
