This capo seems to be well made and has a good grip. Doesn't wiggle at all and is easy to change

Good deal on functional capos. Not much more to say.

Capos, for those who don't play, apply pressure at a specified fret to change the key. They are designed to be put on and taken off at will without having to retune the instrument. These spring-loaded examples are finely crafted and work perfectly. The cost is very reasonable for what you get. High quality items.

Nicely built capos. The grip is strong without being too tight. I needed one for my banjo and another for my electric guitar, so getting two at the same time made sense for me. Some folks might not need two, but if you get two you have a reason to buy another guitar, and when was that a bad thing?

These capos work exactly as they should. I like that this set came with 2 for the price I had previously paid for one. I have a Dunlop capo and these 2 capos look and feel almost identical to that Dunlop. I was given a no name capo by a friend and that one is terrible (doesn’t secure to guitar neck and makes notes of of tune), so there can be differences in capo and I recommend getting a decent one. The look and feel of the 2 capos in this set is truly quite good. I would absolutely buy this set again especially since it was a good value.

The capos arrive as a set of two, nicely packed in a slim carton.I chose the black models, which are finished in a black gloss enamel. They are well finished, with no sharp edges. A thoughtful touch is the grip tape on the non-trigger side, to prevent any slippage caused by sweaty hands in the middle of a gig.Padding is supplied for the top and bottom jaws of the clamp, so as not to dent the guitar fretboard or back of the neck.Spring tension is nice and firm, which is what I wanted so that the pressure is sufficient to clamp the strings against the fret, to prevent unwanted buzz.To be honest, I did not expect such quality for the low price. In fact, at this price point it would make sense to carry one of these capos in the accessory compartment for each of my stage guitars.Capo newbies, be sure to place your capo BEHIND the fret - i.e., towards the nut - but not ON TOP of the fret. (I apologize to the experiences players out there for saying this.) I remember an old lounge guitarist who I replaced in a cover band who scoffed at the idea of using a capo. His answer was to use barre chords and no capo. What he didn't understand was that open chords have a different tone and timbre than barre chords, so the use of a capo is a de facto requirement for certain songs where the "chime" of open strings combined with the fretted notes help to give a song its "mood."The photos showed it to raise the standard E tuning of my Taylor acoustic up a half step to F. If any buzzing is heard on a particular string, you can adjust the position of the capo bar very slightly from low E to high E, or front and back. Be sure to open the trigger when repositioning the capo, to prevent damage to it.
