Hello, the product arrived with a dead battery, once that was replaced it turned on but wouldn’t give a reading.

I bought the TDS Meter to measure the TDS of my RO filter, and it’s been quite useful. For the price, it offers excellent value—combining TDS, EC, and temperature measurements in one device. The large backlit LCD display makes it easy to read, even in low light, and the quick and simple one-button operation is a real convenience. However, I’ve noticed that the standard for indicating water quality with green for 40ppm might not align with all standards I’m familiar with. Despite this, the meter still effectively serves its purpose for my needs. Overall, it’s a reliable tool for monitoring water quality. Also, I feel the meter is a bit bulky for its functionality.

Great tester. I used it at home and found our tap way over the poor quality so I had a reverse osmosis system installed. It’s great to test and easily and quickly get results. I even bring it to restaurants lol.

This tool was a game-changer when I fist got it. Shrimp acclimation was so much easier. But after a year the battery didn't seem to last as long, or the inside parts seem to wobble in the case. There's lots of empty space between the breadboard and the case. So use it carefully, treat it gingerly, keep it in a protected place, not leaning against the shrimp tank or in a pile near the water testing kit. Maybe you'll get more use out of it. I bought a different brand when I replaced it.

I’ve owned dozens of PPM/EC pens, meters and testers over the decades and this is the meter recommend for PPM. It’s inexpensive and accurate enough for most homeowners or hobbyist. This has good clear readability and easy operation. Also just a coin cell battery so it’s light.PPM Meters all share one flaw — they are fragile and break easily! Expensive meters break just as quickly and easily as the inexpensive pens. They just aren’t buy it for life products.A budget meter will give up some accuracy compared to more expensive meters on the market but, the budget meter is still plenty accurate for a home owner/hobbyist. When it fails after a year or two, throw it out and buy a new one.My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a loop to attach a string to so I could hang it from a hook when not in use.

I got this for my hot tub, as a tool to know if my water was good or needed changed. I do use a test kit, which tests, ph, chlorine, etc, but I have a hard time knowing when I need to change the water. When I got this I tested my tap water, my reverse osmosis, fridge filtered water, and hot tub water. The numbers checked out. The hot tub water had the highest and the reverse osmosis had the least amount of dissolved solids.Worked fine out of the box, it only took a minute or two to figure it out. It worked as expected and I do recommend it.Good news was my hot tub water was still good, and I don't have to worry about changing it now.

This seems to be a very reasonably priced meter that works perfectly well for that price. We have a lot of TDS/EC meters around, some cheap some more expensive, and use them a lot, so we're pretty familiar with this tech. If you need measurements for your doctoral thesis, then you'll want something more accurate and you'll pay accordingly. But for most of the things most people want a TDS/EC reading for, this will work very well and there's no reason to pay more. I ordered two, and compared them with several other meters we have, some considerably more expensive, on several samples of water as well as against the NaCl calibration solutions we keep on hand. One was within 5%, the other about 7%, which is better than other similarly priced meters I've used, and for the ranges most people will see, no problem. The display is good. I didn't see any way to adjust the meter, so if it drifted over time, there's no way to correct it. But my experience is that unlike pH meters, that's rarely a problem with TDS/EC meters, so I consider that a minor complaint.

I recently purchased a Water Distiller and I wanted to make sure that it really was working. After doing some research I ended up purchasing this TDS Meter because it got so many great reviews and it was a really good price. I'm not trying to use Meter for any crazy science experiments I just want to make sure the PPM of my distilled water is low so that I can use it in my Espresso Machine and my Ice Machine.I first tested this on the filtered water from my fridge. It measured around 300 PPM. I then measured the distilled water from my machine 5 PPM. I also measured some distilled water from the store which came in around 1 PPM. So I believe this item really works. One of the things I really like about this meter is that the display is nice and bright. Also the Meter comes with a case for storage, its not necessary but it is nice to have so that the Meter isn't just sitting out in the open.

Its resolution is solid. It read exactly what I expected. And it has good buttons. Light up display. If it dies I will update. I used it to measure nutrients.
