This mat has some weight to it which helps keep it in place. It has raised borders to keep any excess debris/water from pouring out. We are able to fit 5 pairs of shoes ranging from little kids to adults and it seems to absorb a small amount of water left behind. It is easy to wipe clean and it fits under a standard sized shoe rack. It also did not have any foul plastic scent when opening it. It is well made and has a nice look to it so you are able to use it as an entrance mat. It is perfect for winter and rainy weather !

I always keep a shoe mat in the foyer near main door to keep dirty shoes. We live in a cold climate and it also rains a lot here so a shoe mat is a must not only for keeping wet shoes but also during snow. This is a small lightweight shoe mat that has a raised lip to gather all the debris and water. This will hold unto 3 shoes or boots which works for us. I have another bigger mat which we keep outside garage door and that holds 5 pair of boots. This smaller mat is good for the foyer area because it is mainly for guests. This mat works great during winters when salt and snow gets stuck in shoe soles so this mat will prevent getting floors dirty. It is made of runner and does not slip and is very easy to clean. It's a nice low maintenance mat to keep your floors clean.

It holds your dirty and wet shoes to keep them off the floor, especially in the winter or spring with salt water or mud. Worked well and even fits my size 13 shoes ok(up to ~3pair).Added bonus, my friends know the general area I expect them to chuck their shoes at when visiting since I have vinyl apartment flooring at my entry.Came rolled up but unrolls easily, the rubber is very malleable.

This is a great mat. At first when it arrived I didn’t have high hops because it was rolled up and I was thinking it was going to be a hard plastic tray. However I like this better than the trays. It so easy to vacuum and rinse off. Very pleased with this product

I got this because this time of year my area uses salt on walkways and drives and if I walk anywhere in the entry way with my salty shoes, they leave a lot of salt and dirt. This solves that problem for me!This has just the right amount of raised lip, around the edge, to keep water and melting snow contained but not being inconveniently tall, which I tend to trip over.I am able to easily fit 3 pairs of shoes or boots at any given time. The rubber is stiff but not rigid and having stepped on it and moved it quite a bit, I can say it is very durable.Highly recommend!

I have engineered hardwood floors that are a bit fussy. I put a small shoe rack near the front door months ago and it has proven to be very handy. It did the trick until the recent rash of bad weather. For the past few weeks I’ve found puddles on the floor after every outing. And I knew that the combination of water, sand and salt that I’ve been tracking in would soon create havoc with the floors. This mat is just what I needed. I slipped it under my shoe rack and now no longer am worried about the floors. While I am not keeping shoes directly on the mat, it obviously can be used that way too. The mat is sturdy and thick and simple to clean. It’s much easier to put down a protective mat than to deal with unnecessary consequences of not protecting the floor. This mat should provide good protection for many years to come!

I have several different types of protective mats to put shoes on, because where I live it gets dirty and muddy a lot. This particular mat is the flexible kind - it comes rolled up, and if you pick it up, it will flop around. However, as flexible mats go, it's considerably more sturdy than many - it certainly can't contain a full load of water, but if it's just mud and dirty and you're careful, you should be able to successfully pick it up to shake it off outdoors without spilling. The rubber is very thick and heavy-duty, it's not going to rip and tear pretty much no matter what, unless you go at it with a knife, and even then it'll take some work to damage it.I do want to point out one very unusual feature which confused me at first. This mat has a raised lip, as you'd expect, to keep debris and water contained. However, this isn't simply a folded-up edge, it's actually a double lip - the rubber is folded once to go up, and then folded again to go back down again as extra support to make sure the lip doesn't sag over time and leak. Quite impressive! Just make sure you put the mat right-side-up.Since the mat arrives rolled up tightly, it'll take awhile to properly stretch out, but you can help it along by lying it out correctly at first. Let it sit overnight, and it should be good to go by the next day. This mat works effectively to protect the floor and catch debris, and the price is reasonable.
