About Woodlore
In 1987 Woodlore was launched as a division of Allen Edmonds. Woodlore began by making cedar shoe trees to protect Allen Edmonds fine leather welted shoes. Made to mirror the quality of our shoes and to honor our Wisconsin heritage, the manufacturing facility is located just across the road in Port Washington. The company was branded “Woodlore” so that it could concentrate on creating wooden products for Allen Edmonds as well as competitive shoe brands and major department stores across the world. We are very proud of Woodlore and how it has grown from its humble beginnings as a shoe tree company. At Woodlore, we understand the importance of preserving the environment for future generations. That's why we practice selective cutting, which allows aromatic cedar to grow faster than it's harvested. Plus, our packaging is both recycled and recyclable.
This split-toe design has a spreader plate that adjusts to a complete range of shoes widths and comes in men's and women's sizes.

Rufus says they will fit all sizes. This is not true. ALL show trees are sold in either small, medium, or large. You have to read the sector’s each brand to know which size you need for your shoes.Otherwise these are a great shoe tree

When your friends find you have this item, you will have to keep a close check on which friend has them at the moment. They work! Also a secret- these work on things other than shoes.

My husband bought a pair of really nice leather dress shoes at Nordstrom and the salesperson recommended a shoe tree to protect his investment; helping with odor control and to help maintain the shoe's structure and prevent creases. That inspired me to purchase this shoe tree for a nice pair of Tod's loafers I have. I purchased the Small size for my 7.5 loafer and it fits perfectly. The spring within the shoe tree allows it to fit a few size ranges (5-7.5). I also appreciated this product was USA made and will stick with them for future purchases. I really need to buy a boot tree and couldn't find any on this brand from Amazon, but I'm able to purchase directly from manufacture's website instead.

These all cedar- made in USA shoe trees are very nice. They are priced fairly and do the job. The ones I received do not have the Right, Left (R,L) markings to indicate which goes in the right shoe and which goes in the left but you can pretty much figure that out by eyeballingd them. I used them in high heel pumps - size 7 and size 7.5 and they do fit. A little bit thick in the back for a high heel pump but still OK. The elastic loop makes them easy to remove.

The light cedar scent is nice and keeps shoes odor free. these are sized for women's shoes so they fit nicely and are well made. bought several sets after the first purchase. Have been a bit surprised at just how well they keep your shoes in shape...who knew?
