el termometro no sube de 92°C. No es una buena opcion si lo quen necesitan es verificar temperaturas mas altas

The meter itself is fine. The software looks like it was written in 1998 (and it probably was).Since they do not provide info on the communications interface, I was forced to reverse engineer it in order to write my own software for the meter. I have it working now. It is not a simple ASCII based interface, so it was non-trivial.

Competent design, the handled probe with 5-pin RTD thermocouple and easily readable display is a good replacement for some higher end K-type meters.

I really wanted to like this thermometer…. It looks substantial and certainly much more high-tech than any thermometer I have owned. I bought it to have an accurate “known temperature” thermometer for my aquariums to establish how far off each individual cheap aquarium thermometer was. I could then visually “calibrate” any cheap thermometer reading to a true temp by knowing how far off it was from this unit. My aquariums range between 76-82 degrees F. (This is important when you read the separate owners manual accuracy specs.)However, when comparing this unit’s temperature displayed to at least a dozen thermometers in the house, it gave temperatures that were consistently 1.5-2.5 degrees F lower. Measuring knowns such as freezing / boiling point, it showed 32.0 degrees F for constant-stir ice water, and 209.8 degrees F for boiling distilled water (at ~600 ft above sea level). I then used the thermometer as an oral thermometer on myself and a few healthy people and got readings between 95.5 (borderline hypothermia) and 97.2 degrees F.So I calibrated the unit per the owner’s manual instructions, and re-measured everything (and everyone). Almost all readings increased by 0.2 degrees F, but still seems “off”.Lastly, I started taking another look at the accuracy specs. Multiple accuracy specs are presented both on the Amazon page as well as the owners manual. Additionally in the manual, they state that both the unit and the probe have their own accuracy specs, which they list. Those must be added to each other for a final overall accuracy. On Page 4 they state:TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT:For ambient temperatures from 0°C ~ 18°C(32°F ~ 64.4°F ) and 28°C ~ 50°C(82.4°F ~122°F), for each °C/°F ambient below 18°C(64.4°F) or above 28°C(82.4°C) add the following tolerance into the accuracy spec. 0.01% of reading + 0.03°C ( 0.01% of reading + 0.06°F ) Complicated, but I get it. This type of thermometer doesn’t have a linear accuracy. The point where I realized this unit is not capable of providing the accuracy I needed, was from Page 3 of the owners manual. It is the most accurate range for this thermometer, and it encompassed my useable aquarium range:ACCURACY: AT 18°C TO 28°C(64.4°F TO 82.4°F7)-100°C ~ 300°C ±(0.1% reading + 0.4°C)-148°F ~ 572°F ±(0.1% reading + 0.8°F).Anything outside of this range, and more error gets added by the other accuracy statements. At this price I was hoping for something that didn’t come with 4 separate accuracy specs and could get me within a few honest tenths of a degree F. Even at it’s best - right in my usable range - this unit is only capable of approximately ±1degree F. I can get that from multiple thermometers under $50 right here on Amazon. I will be returning this unit.

Works well, very useful. Still need to check vs a known good source

Product arrived as promised. Really good quality thermometer that gets the job done. I have used it a few times and it produced accurate reading each time. No issues this far.
