I ordered two of these, and both of them gave the same accurate temperature. I already had another thermometer at home that was 3° inaccurate and these two were right on que! It is easy enough to read the temperature if you give yourself a minute. I would order from this company again!

Designed to be flat on a surface, it is not easy to slant the product so as to be able to see it from inside the house through a window. It seems to function perfectly.

the thermometer was broken when i opened the box it came in;although the packing box was in excellent shape with no damage;which makes me believe it was broken before being shipped.the thermometer was thrown out in the garbage as a result;

...and had been opened, so it had been rolling around unprotected in the box. Wasn't broken, so I won't be sending it back.

The divisions on the scale are just right to read it easily. The thermometer was also well protected when I received it.

I was replacing a Taylor Outdoor thermometer that I have had for 30 years on my back porch. It has worked Has made it through all the various weather conditions and being dropped several times. Never stopped working correctly. The new themometer is identical and I can not get it to register any temperature other than 60 degrees. I have tried the careful tapping and held in hand to see increase reading. Nothing worked. I would like to use this iinstrument as it has been a good purchase in past. Any suggestions or can it be replaced at no cost. Gretchen Hooper

The description for this thermometer promises "Easy to read numerals". It's true the numbers are larger than on many thermometers, but they are also clunky, unattractive, and draw the eyes away from the red fluid I want to read.It's the length of the tube, and the distance between number markings that make for easy reading. The glass tube is only 5 1/2 inches, less than 15 centimeters long.It's not a bad thermometer, accurate enough and sturdy enough. But it is unattractive and hard to read.

I needed one for my room because the central heat and air duct was destroyed to my bedroom by my nieces cats when they got under the house and now my room is an absolute furnace inside in the hot weather and I kept saying that it was too hot in there for me to stand it so I bought an old faithful thermometer instead of spending all that money for these new expensive electronic ones. The last electronic one I bought lasted about 2 months if that and I am still not so sure if I ever actually got a correct temp. reading on that electronic one. It has not been as hot as usual for August here in NC but more hot days are coming and my new thermometer will read about 90 degrees by noon and has gone up to 98 degrees on a few days. That is just way too hot to sit in your bedroom. Just sitting at my desk on the computer with my shirt off when it is that hot, the sweat just rolls off of you. It is miserable so I had to buy a big 16 inch reversible window fan so I can pull the heat out and then pull fresh air in. I have to keep my bedroom door closed at all time because those cats will not only destroy everything but make a mess in the floor, not using the litter box and I just cannot have that, I draw the line there and the cats have already destroyed the rest of the house. Anyway, you can't go wrong with a simple mercury thermometer and this one is under $10 bucks and works just fine and I expect a long life out of it.

Al abrirlo, notamos que el blister en que venia el termómetro, estaba abierto, es decir lo habían sacado, pero funciona correctamente.
