When I got it I thought that one was 2” and one was 1.25” but no I was wrong they are both 2” but one has a 1.25” adapter installed so you can easily keep track if you do SHO you don’t have to keep switching out filters and makes it very easy, the build quality is great what I would expect from SvBony.

This filter drawer is an affordable option that's definitely worth trying. It's well constructed with metal, and all threads are of good quality and tighten securely. It's incredibly easy to use. While I haven't yet tested it under dark skies, I anticipate no issues.

Filter wheels? Those are so 2010. Whoever thought up the idea of a filter drawer needs to be promoted, immediately. In all seriousness, this item obviously functions a bit differently than a wheel. If you're a serious imager who is using an indoor setup, then obviously an electronic filter wheel is the better choice. But for the rest of us, a filter drawer like this one is simpler to use.Screwing onto the front of your camera, the drawer allows you to easily swap out any filters you own without having to change out anything on your imaging train. It accommodates both 2" and 1.25" sizes.It is virtually identical to the ZWO filter drawer in both size (21mm) as well as the standard threading on both sides (M42 & M48). You may need a M48 to 1.25" adapter.This thing is heavy duty and looks great, like a piece of cast iron... and that's the problem. The SVBONY filter drawer weighs 8oz more than the ZWO filter drawer, a full half-pound. If you already have, say, an ADC or a Barlow or other equipment attached to your scope, this adds a not-insignificant amount of weight.But here there is also a nice trade-off in your favor: the price. The SVBONY filter drawer comes in $30 cheaper than the ZWO filter drawer, so for astrophotographers on a budget this is the way to go if your mount can handle it. Virtually all items related to astronomy and astrophotography depend on your particular setup, budget, and goals. If this product is right for you I can enthusiastically recommend it for the quality, functionality, and the price.

Product made for a different telescope than mine so I will have to resize connecting threads (lathe) which is exactly as I expected (see user name). NO complaints. Solid construction. Once fitted to my equipment it will do a great job. Delivered 2 weeks *before* earliest estimated date!!

While I've never used their telescopes, I have many Svbony accessories and they are all well built. I don't know if this was an extra that some how made it into the box, but mine came with 2 drawers. I didn't know that so I ordered an extra. Works out so now I've got extras. Perfect fit and only the slightest of light leak. I don't notice it in any lights or calibration frames other than the dark flats. And even then it's mild and that was in direct sunlight. (I know). This is cheaper than a used ZWO and this has a better fit latch than their first series. Not sure about the updated version of the Z but these parts are clean. Threads were perfect. Not a single flaw. Even shipped in a cut foam cube in a plastic box for storage. I am really impressed with everything I've used that was Svbony.

The drawer indeed has M48 thread to support mounted 2” filters, but the body has M42 thread on one side, choking down to just 38mm inner diameter and blocking 38% of an M48 (2”) filter! This will sharply vignette on a full-frame sensor. The M42 to M48 adapter is a step-up adapter to fit this M42-constricted drawer to an M48 imaging system.. something nobody would ever do in a well-matched system. This is disappointing and not only unclear in the description, but outright misleading by claiming it supports 2” filters. This should have been constructed with M48 thread on BOTH sides of the body plus a step-DOWN adapter for M42 cameras.I’ll still find use for it, but I wish the description at least pointed out M42 body thread. Otherwise the drawer is solid. The magnets are stronger than in another drawer I have from a main line astro equipment brand. Also, the drawer comes in a very nice plastic box which will come in handy for something else, maybe an astro camera.

Well made with good threads. Perfect replacement for 21mm T-ring provided with camera plus it includes 2 filter drawers. The 1-1/4" drawer is actually a second 2" (48mm thread) drawer with an 1-1/4" adapter screwed in.

I have 3 different makes of filter drawers. One ZWO which if not careful you can order the wrong drawers. Player One which was OK but after a short while the filters drawers would fall out. So in the trash it went.Now I have the SVbony and it is by far the best of the 3 makes. It has tiny magnets that work to hold the draw in place. It is very well made and the drawers go in and out easy. It comes with two extra dawers and a 1 1/4 each adapter for smaller filters too. The price is at least half or better than half what the other two makes cost also. If your looking for a filter drawer that is made well works well and is half the price than any other make. The SVBony is your choice.
