The ICE 1.25" LiPo Didymium Optical Glass Filter fit my Celestron telescope with no issues. It is well machined and threaded on easily. This filter helped with the light pollution in my area as we have a shopping center just over the hill. While I am not the keenest eye, I did not notice any distortion from the filter. I am happy with this product and it has improved my viewing time.

The LiPo Light Pollution Filters are used to improve the outcome of nocturnal images by absorbing the yellow light glare from sodium-vapor lighting which is the most used source of lightning in urban areas.I ordered the Desmond Photographic ICE filter and attached it effortlessly to the eyepiece thread of my Celestron C8 telescope.Observation in my urban highly light polluted area with a Bortle scale of class 8-9 was slightly improved with the filter. I noticed a slight bluish tint with this filter. Also a reduced exposure between 0.25 and 0.5 stops.Perhaps my remarks were a consequence of a slightly clouded sky.But regarding the inexpensive price of this filter, I consider it is worth trying it out and see yourself viewing improvements.
