I was running this on my deadair sandman k.... went to a night shoot event and wasn't really going all that hard on the gun. Half way through the night, I went through 2 mags pretty quickly and the entire cover was SMOKING. Like smoked out the entire firing line and smelled absolutely horrible. Upon inspection, the tension strings that tightens the wrap completely melted and broke, rendering it useless. I'd appreciate a replacement or better yet, a refund. But Amazon won't let me choose that option. I'll try reaching out to burn proof directly and I'll update the review accordingly.

Feeling like I got ripped off for $150… put 200 rounds through this on my YHM Turbo T2 and the draw string melted and broke. The fiberglass insert is flush with both ends but as you can see it does not protect the draw strings on either end. It falls just short. So… not burn proof.
