Using this product to strip varnish off an antique dresser, and it's making the process go really fast. Was using a different product but ran out, and the difference in the effectiveness of this is like night and day. Found out fast that it will melt foam craft applicators in a matter of SECONDS, so apply with a cheap chip brush with natural bristles. Get chemical resistant gloves if stripping a big piece (I used it without gloves but used a scraper with changeable blades, so it really didn't get on my skin, and what did get on me didn't burn it anything) and an old glass jelly jar or ceramic bowl to pour it into for applying to small areas.

I give this a 3.5 out of 5. I am a big fan of Sunnyside Multi-strip, but I wanted something faster. I tried Jasco and Klean Strip's "safer" strippers, but they smelled awful and barely took off 1 layer. So, I tried this one. It is faster, but it is not nearly as thick as the other Sunnyside strippers, so it does not "cling" to vertical surfaces. I think it would be a lot better on a horizontal surface, but I am working on a door frame. Because it is not drip-free, the coverage is not even; lower sections that caught drips showed more progress than sections closer to the top. What I started doing was covering the stripper-brushed areas with wax paper to "hold" the stripper in place, which seemed to help. The stripper does stay wet longer, as I noticed areas where I had stripped last night were still a little wet this morning without the wax paper. Again, it does work, and I will use it, but unlike its fellow Sunnyside stripper products, it's penchant for dripping does not make it the best option for vertical surfaces. However, it does make it possible to strip in 4 hours instead of the normal 8 hours for the multi-strip.

I had been searching for a product to remove paint from my kitchen countertop. I really had no Idea how this would work, but it turned out to be quite successful. I just painted a layer on, then let it sit, following directions carefully. It took a little bit of work to get it off, but I got what I needed done. My countertops look just as they were never painted. Time to redecorate again, I suppose!

Works as it should. It has nice pleasant smell. It took 45 min to start working on my deck posts. It won’t bubble like a normal stripper but if you use wire brush or blade the paint comes right off. Will buy again!!!

I open up the bottle pored some out and painted it on came back about 20 min latter it didn't do anything. I new it wouldn't work back to the grinder and wire brush I pored the cup back in the bottle and I remembered didn't shake it up so I shook it and poured some out looked different painted some on the frame went inside to get a drink came back out and the paint was all wrinkles and falling off. I am sold it worked great I still had to do some wire brushing but what a time saver. It cleaned the frame all the way to bare steel. It made the hard to get areas like joints easy. The key to this product working is shake it up and you will save so much time and energy. Thanks for a great product.

This product is awful, the fumes are unbelievably bad, very difficult to remove from wood table, and difficult to remove from scraper.Do not buy this product.

I was using this on a railing in our hallway to remove about 5 layers of paint. I left it on and put a heavy coat on and let it sit for a while but it took me about 5 tries and there is still a ton left. I bought the bigger size and It's more than half way gone. I can't stand to be around the fumes any longer. This took me 2 days so far and I bet it would take about 20 more hours to remove. I hired a handyman to help bc this was awful for me.
