Was very skeptical because it is a paint remover. When I used it to remove old powder coat I was very impressed! I applied it to my parts left for about a hour and everything wiped right off.

Best paint remover I’ve ever used and I’ve used a lot. I don’t understand how it says it’s frequently returned unless it’s because of the spray. Spraying doesn’t work well. I unscrewed the to and poured in a container. I give this product 5 stars.

IT IS LIKE TRYING TO SPRAY PANCAKE BATTER. IT IS THICK AND WILL NOT SPRAY OUT OF THE BOTTLE. THE PRODUCT DOES WORK WELL AS LONG AS YOUR ARE PATIENT AND LET IT WORK.

Barely stripped off a very light spray paint that had been on for only a week, and even that had to be scrubbed fairly hard. The spray bottles, nada. Zero chance of this being used as a spray, its just too thick and the bottle only worked for like first 3 squeezes. Go ahead and get some brushes if you plan on buying this product. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is the stripper portion almost removed paint.

I needed to strip the top of a large Drexel Heritage dining table. I had to shake and apply the contents onto a rag and then onto the table as the sprayer does not work efficiently but with that being said, I left it on for the 30 minutes and it scraped off pretty easily I was able to do the entire table with relatively no effort, I did go over the area obviously with my sander after I stripped it but this stuff does remove the original finish. I would 100% use this product again.

First of all, the Sprayer didn't work. It dribbled a bit, but didn't spray. So I shook the container as instructed in the directions, then poured some on the side of a varnished desk. Brushed it on. Waited as directed. Didn't work. Turned to a sort of glue that was difficult to scrape off, and certainly could NOT clean it up with water. I should have gone with a proper stripper and done the work outside. I only bought this to avoid the fumes, but even that wasn't true. Very mild but pervasive smell that gave me a headache and made my neighbor decide to go home because it affected her breathing. Very disappointing. Maybe old people shouldn't try refinishing things, eh? Too sensitive? I have done quite a bit of refinishing over the years so not exactly inexperienced. This stuff is not worth the money.

I purchased this to remove the paint and numbering from a couple vintage steel milk bottle I had purchased. The actual stripper worked very well. It's extremely thick and sticks well to the sides of vertical surfaces. I put it on the stainless steel bottle and left it for a few hours, the paint came right off. I also used it on an older fully painted non-stainless milk jug, that worked well too. In fact, when I realized I hadn't purchased enough to do the second milk bottle, my husband bought some "CitriStrip" from our local home improvement store and that didn't work nearly as well as this, but it didn't make sense to buy more of this until I used that up, I wish I could have. That said - the spray bottle was a mistake. This stuff is super thick, so every time you squirt with the spray bottle, a little bit comes out, then it takes *forever* for the handle to pop back out to spray again. I ended up giving up and just taking the top off and squeezing it onto the surface and spreading it around with my (gloved) finger. I had some disposable nitrile gloves to protect my hands - this stuff will affect the gloves, in that they tear more easily after its been on it, but it doesn't eat through immediately or anything. Note to the manufacturer - this probably wouldn't be an issue if the spray bottle top/tube was sized correctly for the thickness of the fluid.Overall, I would definitely buy this stuff again, but I would just get a half gallon instead of the sprayer. Took 1 star off for the crappy sprayer. Otherwise, a good buy.Note: This review is for "Sunnyside Corporation 68532 Hi-Speed Ready-Strip Citrus Paint & Varnish Remover, Quart Trigger Spray, Assorted", which I purchased in the "Hi-Speed Ready Strip" / "Quart Trigger Spray" style on 4/6/2022.
