From the Manufacturer

Klean-Strip Paint Stripper After Wash cleans and prepares surfaces for refinishing by removing any residue left from the stripping process. It won't raise the grain of wood or loosen wood joints or veneer on fine furniture. Can be used with all types of paint removers. Use Klean-Strip Paint Stripper After Wash after stripping projects to insure beautiful results when refinishing. Our Klean-Strip solvents and thinners are mixed into wet paint, varnish, stain and other finishes to weaken consistency and thin them out. They're also great for clean up. Klean-Strip products are like elbow grease in a can. They're formulated for professional use to strip years of old paint, clean up heavy-duty spills, and give homes a second chance.

After using klean strip spray paint remover on a wooden stool, pressure washing it and wiping it down, there was a white resdue that refused to come off. I spoke to two women at the company giving all the details up front and asking what to do. Thirty minutes later after they had contnuously asked me questions I had already answered and made me read labels and so on for NO REASON, someone finally recommended this product and I ordered it. Turns out that Klenstrip recommends it for ALL strippers of all brands and there was no need at all to nterrogate me and waste my time and energy. I applied it as directed and t didn't work at all. Spit works bettter and lasts longer. I finally was able to remove the residue by wiping down the stool with old english scratch remover, which fortunately I had on hand in the right walnut color and that solved the problem. The stripper worked okay hut the afterwash was a waste of money and the silly girls at customer service were a JOKE.

Do NOT repaint or finish wood without this step after stripping. Zero smell, easy to use, very little needed so a value for the money and very thin so no mess! Use gloves and follow safety instructions. Quality product

Good liquid. I used it after CitriStrip. it saved my closet after a bad coat of paint.Smells very strong! Use a respirator or something similar. A thin mask will not work. / Or a thick scarf over the nose, apply the liquid quickly, a little and intermittently.

I’m stripping the 40 year old paint off my kitchen windows. I’ve done woodworking before, but not much stripping. All the little nonsense that wasn’t scraping, the street wash took it right off. Great product!!

I'm currently stripping a beautiful dresser which was covered in thick coats of off white paint when we picked it up (it was a curbside freebee). The wood underneath is beautiful but I had not purchased this afterwash. The stripper starts the process and does a great job but this afterwash really does a great job of completing the process and it can get into the small areas that a scraper doesn't reach well. The stripper gives the option of using this after wash or mineral spirits. I tried both and it's clear that this afterwash does a better job and it's faster. I highly recommend this product! (Please remember you'll need a well ventilated area when using any of these products.)
