Product Description

Multi-Strip ADVANCED is a unique, safe paint remover that is designed to remove up to 15 layers of paint and varnish. A lighter coat will remove 1 to 4 layers quickly while a heavier coat will remove multiple layers over time. It is biodegradable, non-flammable, low odor and contains no Methylene Chloride, NMP or Caustic. It can be brushed, rolled or sprayed on with an airless paint sprayer. Multi-Strip removes most varieties of paints and varnishes which are oil or water-based. Unlike other removers it can remove more difficult coatings such as two part epoxy and urethanes. Multi-Strip ADVANCED works on interior and exterior surfaces.

This product is amazing! It works great and paint easily came off with a plastic scraper within 1 hour. So much better than the citrus spray options. No bad chemical smell either- almost smells like banana pudding :) Highly recommend this product.

Product works well after 1-2hrs on multiple paint layers, but use with good ventilation. Product used on wood with very old, multiple paint layers. Applied with a thin layer for 24hrs and although no notable paint bubbling, paint could be scraped off cleanly and down to the wood. More generous application resulted in a more “bubbling” appearance in 1-2hrs and removal of all paint with scraping. There is a strong citrus-like smell that is not as bad as traditional paint strippers, but if used indoor, without good ventilation, it quickly becomes overpowering. As per traditional paint strippers, use with good ventilation and breathing mask.

I'm stripping the paint off my cement patio so I bought this product. First, I found that for some results I have to wait at least 12 hrs. Second, the paint doesn't come off easily, I literally have to chisel it off, so I can only do small sections at a time. Lastly, you can only use outdoors because it is so toxic smelling.I found another product in a rectangular can that works within 15 mins and the paint comes off much easier. I will not buy this product again.

Is a bit messy it drips a little but it worked well with my project. I’m giving 3 because it says it has a low odor and that’s not true. The odor is SUPER strong! I wore a mask and I was able to smell it when I was applying it to the furniture. I had a strong migraine after and my lungs were hurting a bit after using this. I had the door open in my garage. Definitely don’t use indoors.

It made it so much easier to scrape. We counted 6 layers from before 1980. It did not take everything off, but it was so much easier to scrape. The photos show results of using a paint scraper knife only. We will still use the drill metal wire brushes to fully clean it up, but this has saved so much time. Makes it faster to finish the fence panel without having to make so much noise with the drill bit. We only use the drill from 10-3 pm so not to bother the neighbors with so much noise. Also I can work on the fence and scrape it before 10:00 am or after 3pm since it makes no noise and get the panel ready for the drill for the next day.Great on the fancy "flower" for lack of a better word, a lot of the paint came off. Will have to do a second coat on that one, but it was much easier to clean up.Glad I tried it.

I had several different projects I tried to use this on. For thin powder coating of pain it stripped easily. For the better quality powder coated or painted surfaces of stainless steel and wood it took so many times of applying, drying...waiting and then scrubbing until my arms, shoulders and fingers were sore. I ended up purchasing a spray which works like a champ. I won't purchase this stuff again. It works but takes too many applications to make it worth the money and time.

I made a lot of impulsive decisions while doing all the renovations on our Airbnb on one side of our duplex. Most were good or okay decisions. But then came the sink.To put this into context, let’s start at the beginning. I used a very nice countertop paint kit to cover up the hideous counters but it was recommended to seal it with epoxy for extra durability. I had never worked with epoxy before. That is it’s own story... there was epoxy everywhere. Some of it dripped through the taped barriers into the standard silver/metal sink. I tried so many things to get it off. The sound of steel wool on metal was ingratiating. The box cutter approach was dangerous.Meanwhile, I thought the silver/nickel of the kitchen faucet didn’t look right with the now dark counters and the more modern look we were going for. I compared the price of new faucets to spray paint... I obtained a can of black spray paint for metal and taped up the sink once again, perhaps halfheartedly. The faucet looked great! But there was mists of black spray paint that somehow made it on the sink bottom along with a few dribble spots.Feeling lightheaded from the spray paint fumes, i realized how easy it would be to solve the epoxy and spray paint issue by... just spraying the hell out of the sink and making it all black! Genius! It looked pretty good from the start. I sealed it (or tried) with some finish I had that said it was okay on metal. I crossed my fingers and hoped it would last. After our first guests, there was a chip in the sink paint. I grumbled about it — what careless people did that to my sink?? — but drew my weapon of choice once again. Problem solved. Or so I thought...After each guest there were more and more chips, flakes, scratches on my precious paint job. I bought different spray paint. I bought different finishes. I thought, “this will be better” each time. Alas, every effort I made turned out no different than the last. I came to the conclusion that either the sink had to go... or I did.But then a promising idea miraculously came to mind; if MORE paint wasn’t the answer, would removing it altogether be the saving throw? When this paint stripper arrived I am sure the Amazon van driver had no idea what power he was driving around the city with.I was on a time crunch with the next guest arriving in 3 days — would it be long enough to make this work, else fix another disastrous decision? It was enough — more than enough. I slathered on the goo half skeptically, half holding out hope. While the container said it could take several hours to a day and several layers, even the whole container, the layers and layers of various paints and varnishes started to shrivel up to be wiped away and never seen again under the first strokes of stripper. The whole sink was cleaned up and looking like a vessel within you’d actually be willing to was your dishes or hands within 3 hours. It would have been less if I hadn’t taken a break to eat.The grande finale was seeing the edges of those large droplets of epoxy start to curl up. This far exceeded my expectations — even the epoxy cleared up?Even the epoxy.
