New house and put these throughout. Big mistake. In two years I have changed about 12 lights because they go out. Some aren’t easy to get to. Very aggravating. Today I had two of the new ones go out that I just replaced with new ones less than 6 weeks ago. The little junction boxes get very warm so I made sure they were exposed to the fresh air and not covered with insulation, thinking maybe the heat was causing them to go out. Nope! The two that just went out the junction boxes are cool to the touch. These lights are just junk. The contractor suggested and put these in our house. No im stuck dealing with the cheap junk. Don’t buy these unless you want problems. I will say that some of the lights are fine. Several haven’t given me any issues but several have. Changing these make a mess too if you have blown insulation in your attic which most do. Every time I have to pull one out it all falls in the floor. You can try and pull it back beforehand and I do but it still makes a mess. The manufacturer of these lights should be taken to court. Don’t buy!!!

I just installed a pack of 12 in my living room as a DIY. 2 lights were installed under a ceiling joist without any problem. The all fit snugly against the ceiling. All lights worked without any problem. I chose 3000K for brightness and installed a dimmer switch. I am very happy with the lumination. There is no glare (baffle) and no flicker or humming that other reviews have noted. The components seem to be "cost-effective". The connector chord from the junction box is much shorter than other flat LEDS. There is no grounding wire. The junction box itself was the weakest point. Thin Plastic. Lid is not very secure. The punch-outs are too big, at least for Romex 12 gauge. There is not much room in the junction box itself. Maybe would be better with smaller wire. I used lever connectors and just I taped the box cover with duct tape. Overall, would recommend. Good value for the price.

Bought these because my current recessed light went out. Was very easy to install, clips were easy to put in and the light was very bright. Also could not beat the price! Would buy from again!

Everything works, but you have to change the J-box since the connections from the same light (less than a year ago) have slightly different connections. So much for a 45-year light. I had two go out in under a year.

These took no time to install and replace old recessed can lights. So far I'm happy with them! Only issue was that 1 of the 12 did not work, leaving me one light short for my home project.

Installed 2 of them in our laundry room and 4 in our walk in closet after removing the florescent light fixtures. The light is not yellow or blue just what we wanted nice clean lighting that's easy to DIY and fits flush with drywall. There were rafters in a couple of the spots we needed these to be installed so the thin profile saved the day. Installation was easy if you've done DIY projects and have the correct tools. Make a template and carefully cut the drywall. The trim ring easily covers up the gap for a professional look when finished.

I didn’t think these lights would be so bright because they are only 25 watt. I put them in a Sputnik light so 6 of them. The room is super bright, too bright for a bedroom but they look good in the fixture.

We knew our living room was on the darker side (just had light from a ceiling fan), but we had no idea how amazing the lighting could be in here until after we installed the LED can lights. My husband installed 5 of the 12 in the living room. The installation went very quickly and (from where I was standing) appeared simple. These lights have a very, very low profile, nearly flush with the ceiling (in fact, pretty much as thick as the sheetrock in the ceiling). He had read reviews to check the lights were working before installation—all of the 5 we installed were in working order. He used some sort of Dremel tool he bought at Harbor Freight to cut the holes in the ceiling. I'm not sure what all went on in the attic, but a little while after he headed up there, he called my cell phone, told me to flip the breaker and see if the lights work...It was seriously amazing! We could see in our living room! Like work a puzzle, play board games, see all the pieces kind of bright light! Now, our kitchen (which had seemed super bright in comparison to our living room) feels dim and we are toying with the idea of changing out our old can lights in the kitchen with these new ones. We are also gonna install some of these in our bedroom, which is also super dim. Oh, and we put these on a dimmer switch which works wonderfully!

These lights are high quality. I dropped it from 4' and it didn't phase it. The holding springs are very strong but easy to use while installing it. The low voltage connector to the light has a water-tight connection with an o-ring and twist-on collar. The Romex wire goes easily into the included wiring box and slips nicely onto the ceiling sheet rock. This is the bright 14 watt model but with a dimmer switch these are completely adjustable. I'm using an 8 light pattern in my 13' 7" x 16' 6" kitchen and it really lights it up and with such low energy. Some of my 6.3" openings are right over rafters, but no worries, the light unit is only 1/2" thick so it fits in the hole perfectly, and snug. These are awesome.

only thing i disliked was the clips broke off very easy, not 100 percent quality.

I ordered a box of 4” and 6” lights as I have a customer who prefers 2700K. Well, the 6” which arrived were 4000K. The 4” is correct. However it matters not as these lights are such low quality I can’t put my name to them. The entire trim ring and LED enclosure is plastic. While it looks nice, this is cast aluminum in a good light. This is necessary for heat dissipation and under test, sure enough the LEDs got too hot to touch within minutes. This guarantees they won’t last much longer than an ordinary incandescent bulb at best. The driver box is also plastic, reminiscent of the terrible fixtures that are sold at Costco.
