Meconard's Ultra Slim Recessed Lighting Kits are the recessed lights of the future. Each fixture is 0.47" thick meaning they are ideal for locations where height clearance is limited such as beams or ductwork. Energy Star certified and IC rated for direct contact with insulation, they won't overheat, do not require a bulky can and will last for years to come - 50,000 hours or approximately 45 years if used for 3 hours per day to be exact. Wet rated and certified airtight, this LED 6" kit is perfect for your bathroom, drop ceilings, outdoor soffits and all general lighting applications. Each kit features an ultra slim junction box at 1.4" , a 14.6" cable, easy push and click quick connects. Sitting on top of the housing the clips are stronger and easier to use than any of our competitor's kits. The frosted lens provides a beautiful light that illuminates with1050 lumens and uses only 12 watts of energy to produce the brightness of a 110 watt bulb.
- 3000K creates a comfortable and warm atmosphere, widely used in kitchens, bedroom, the design of dimmable 3-100%, save energy and save bills.
- 4000K provides natural light, neither too dark nor too bright, making people feel comfortable and natural. Suitable for daily activities such as living room and study.
- 5000K day light is bright and people will be more concentrated under this light source, so it is ideal for office, garage, display areas and commercial.
Tips: The hole template is included in the box which you can follow 1:1 template dimension to cut the hole in the celing.

I installed four of these recessed lights in a 240-square-foot bedroom, and the transformation is incredible! The lights provide bright, even illumination, instantly making the room feel more modern and welcoming.The included electrical connectors made installation quick and easy, with the ability to daisy-chain up to three additional lights in one connector. I used 14/2 Romex to wire everything together without any issues.Just a heads-up — you’ll need your own 6" hole saw for the cutouts. Although the instructions recommend a 6.1" hole, my 6" hole saw worked perfectly. Another tip: set your preferred light color and brightness before installing to save time later.I was so impressed with the quality that I ordered 12 more to replace all the outdated lights throughout my house. These are a fantastic upgrade for any home project — highly recommended!

This is my second time in ordering these lights. Quality of them are great and the fit was perfect. Durability is great, I have had my first order of lights for a year and they are doing wonderful. One aspect of these I love is that you can change the lights to whatever color tone you prefer. These lights look like they are high quality and will perform like the ones you would find at the big box stores for 4 times as much. The wire connectors are super easy to use too.

I replaced an old fluorescent light in my kitchen with 6 of these lights. I was able to place these in various locations around the kitchen close to the counter for excellent task lighting. Very easy to install and wire together.

Installation was easy. Came with a template and wire connectors. Living room was a little dark and wow what a difference now. These are set on the 5k setting. Will order more for kitchen.

These are phenomenal. I bought them to replace a couple malfunctioning lights in my house, and I'm now planning to buy the 12-pack and replace ALL my lights. These dim MUCH more smoothly than my existing lights, which go from 0 to 100 percent (and vice versa) in like half a second, but take about half a second to start dimming, so you have to press the switch and just kind of time it and quickly release the switch, hoping you get some approximation of the right brightness. You probably didn't, so you have to try again. And again. Also, my existing lights are all stuck on the hottest, coldest white imaginable. The selectable color temperatures on these are great. Now my kitchen is a cozy, warm white. And soon, so will be the rest of my house.Also, these come with quick-connect wire nuts already installed on the wires, making installation an absolute breeze. I can hardly believe what a great value these are.
