I had a thinner line and I wanted the larger diameter from the valve to the burner. Made a huge difference! The extra length made it that much better to retrofit an old firebowl from propane to a natural gas set up. Bear in mind you need to change the guts but thats what I wanted.

Solid product at a good price. Mine doesn't whistle at all.

We installed an outdoor natural gas fire pit - the plumber finished the gas line and bought a standard flex line from Home Depot. The second we turned it on it whistled at any level.I immediately went to Amazon to search for a solution and I am glad I bought this. Installed in about 5 minutes and the whistle is gone. Amazing!

Solid build - replaced several black iron pipe elbows, short pipe sections (nipples), an old style valve, a universal joint, and a reducer that had been problematic in the past with this and a new brass ball valve.

This hose is as advertised - It does not whistle. Be aware that the fittings are 1/2”, but the hose is 3/8”.

My gas pressure is so high that it still whistles... but that’s an easy problem to fix, I just don’t open the valve all the way, juuuuuust until the whistles starts and then back it off a little until it goes away, and the whistles stops, and the flame is still huge. Works well!
