Install steps:
- Connect the 5 Feet regulator with hose on your 20-100lbs propane tank.
- Connect the the female adapter with the fire pit safety control valve kit and keep tightly enough.
- Insert the plastic control knob into your fire pit control panel and keep the valve chrome sleeve is exposed outside.
- Connect the flexible corrugated hose with another side of 3/8” male flare adapter on brass valve.
- The flexible corrugated hose should be connect your current burner inlet connect or air mixer nozzle.
Insatll the thermocouple:
- Install the thermocouple tip on a board and use two nuts to fix its location
- Keep the tip about 5mm from the burner hole.
- Fix the thermocouple nut M8 on the valve end tightly
- Connect two flat terminals well with the current tilt switch terminals.
- Turn on the gas and push your valve 5-10s till the thermocouple end is heated.
- Release your hand and it work well.
If failed, please check :
- a. If your thermocouple is heated on flame
- b. If the thermocouple end is well connected with valve
- c. If the terminals connect tilt switch well.
Notice
- If the fire pit cannot lit, check your igniter and sparker and try to replace one.
- Make sure the gas valve is opened before start lighter.
- Safety warming: Close the gas if you do not want to use the fire pit for safety
- The air mixer valve and elbows is not included

Pretty much plug and play per-se. The old unit froze up and wouldn't turn. Replaced with this unit and instantly fired up. The dial in the front is a little off from the original as far as the settings but not a deal breaker for me. It's possible to rotate it to line up exactly. The main thing that it works. Took about 10 min to install.

only issues was that I purchased a 3/8" kit and I should have used a 1/4". Had to source an adapter which I found at Grainger. Flames up nicely in the fire pit.
