The correct way of checking if a pot is leaking
✔CORRECT:
Keep the pot balanced and stable. Fill with water in one side and fill with colored water (e.g. vinegar) in another side. If the water doesn't change in color the pot is not leaking under the divider.
✘WRONG:
Filling only one side will exert some natural pressure and the liquid will leak to the other side (a natural phenomenon). It's not leaking.

I decided to take the chance and order this hot pot divided pot and lid but I should have listened to the reviews… the pot itself was fine, although the stainless steel was quite thin and flimsy. But it was the pot lid that was very disappointing! When I tried to screw on the knob to the lid, the metal of the screw disintegrated as I was trying to tighten it! Therefore, I could not even tighten the knob on properly. I’ve returned it and ended up finding another hot pot at H-Mart instead for cheaper and better quality. Womp womp!

This is working out perfectly for us. It is a little thin but we have had no problems with burning etc. cleanup is a breeze. Love it so far

It works perfectly with my induction cooktop, very efficient for hotpot. It’s also easy to clean. The only concern is the material is not thick as expected, not sure how long is the life time.

Great price! The first pot came in without the screw and but to tight the handle on the lid and we got a replacement. So glad we got it! We enjoyed a great meal and will be using it again soon. The pot worked really great with the induction stove. I did notice the bottom of the pot turn a darker color hopefully this pot last is for a while.

For now I’m giving it a 3 star and will edit if my issue is resolve. The item came but the lid was damage and it didn’t came with the handle. We try the leak test and like good consumers didnt read and put water only in one side and it eventually started leaking. Went back to read and sure enough is the first warning to fill both side not just one side. After doing that it passed the leak test. Our only issue really is with the lid how it’s bend and has no handle.

The pot had a couple small leaks between each of the sides of the pot. Leak check before you use it like I did. The ladles that come are a little small as well. Otherwise I was satisfied with the construction of the pot. The glass top seems to be of good quality.
