There really isn't much I can say about these filters. They fit my PETNF brand 3gal water fountain perfectly, and the doggo's seem just as happy with their water as they were last week, so it seems to be doing it's job. It hasn't changed how the fountain operates, or the water levels at all, so I'm going to say just as good as OEM. I'll update my review as I work through the package, should I encounter anything that warrants it.

These filters fit perfectly in my pet fountain and have been working great, I change them out once a month to keep the water fresh tasting for my cats.Overall they work great, I couldn't ask for more

I have a stainless steel 3 gallon pet fountain that has a crystal looking plastic output on top. I'm trying to give a description of what it looks like in the hopes that it helps someone looking for a filter for the same fountain will realize that these fit.These fit perfectly in my water fountain and for that I am eternally grateful as I now have a source for the small K cup sized water filters.And $20 for 4 filters I feel this present an excellent value. I forgot to mention, this kit comes with the small little sponge pre-filters that go inside the pump. This was an added bonus. I only figured out after I got to my very last filter. Next time I will know I can change that filter at the same time as I change the main white filter.I can comfortably get about a week out of them before my suspicions are the water quality is diminishing. I'm quick to replace them to keep the water fresh for my dogs. I soak them in water first to try and liberate any small bits of loose carbon, but I've yet to find the water come out anything but perfectly clear when I soaked them at first.Recommended for those with a stainless steel 3 gallon water fountain from PetNF

Easy to set up. I love the tube to the pump. So much easier. Now sadly, my sloppy dog is still sloppy, but i wasn't expecting a miracle.

I have been using these devices for years. The first one lasting over 2 years for my 4 pets.... quality and longevity has dipped considerably with each new purchase. I am back to a plain big bowl of water.

At this point the fountain is working well. It has been together for about 24 hours. I am using it for cats. I’m not certain I would purchase for a large dog. I know my German Shepherd would have it buried by now but, that’s her. Forgot the ridiculous instructions or lack thereof. It was much easier to use common sense than scanning with the phone.

Nice large water fountain that has a filter and is great for our dog and cat.It's entirely steel, appart from the pump, filter, filter tray, water dispenser and cord and gromet. It's easy to clean mostly, the steel will pick up scale especially if you have harder water but also mixed with dog saliva etc, it's large so if you have a smaller sink it's a bit difficult to maneuver while cleaning and rinsing.It feels overall kind of cheap, it just looks like some mix matched parts when inside it but that's not really an issue and it's been going well for a while now. You do need to care for it, if you don't it won't work as well and you will notice. The pump intake has a pre filter that you get an extra of, but it's also cleanable and they do a good job at catching hairs that make their way into the bowl and that is the main part that once cleaned returns the flow back to normal.The water filter that looks like a normal water jug filter just tiny I'm sure does something, you don't see it but I'm sure it filters dust and particles, but it's not the same as the filters you might use for a water filter jug. It comes with filter replacements, you don't need it but you can find even more replacements if you run out.This has been more reliable and better than the all plastic cat one I had from the bet store

As a home with both resident and fosters, we’re in a good position to try out and review pet-related products, we have other water fountains so we were happy to compare this “ Stainless Steel Large Dog Water Fountain for Large Dogs,3Gallon Extra Large Capacity Big Pet Water Fountain with 4 Filters,Automatic Dog Fountain Water Bowl Dispenser Indoor,Quiet Pump,Dishwasher Safe” with our other fountains.Firstly, we love fountains for keeping our pets properly hydrated, we never worry that we’ve forgotten to fill their bowl with water or if we’ve kept it fresh enough and we’ve found that most pets prefer to have the freshness and intrigue of flowing water in a fountain.Over time we’ve realized that stainless steel is superior for our pets, we really noticed bacteria build-up on plastic and collects in the filters, so now we only have stainless steel and didn’t use the filters but instead cleaned the fountain regularly. However, we found that this filter set-up is very different than previous filters, the filter is enclosed, so potentially it will prevent that bacteria build-up? I’m not too sure yet, but it doesn’t hurt to give the filters a try, there are 4 included (not sure where to get more when these are finished? Or even to know when to switch them?) Speaking of cleaning, we also don’t use tap water because our area has very hard water, we use filtered water and it helps prevent the hard water build-up and hopefully to some degree keeps the water a bit cleaner.We were surprised how large this fountain is! It’s definitely designed for your larger pets, less filling up! You need to dedicate a good amount of real estate to this particular fountain!Set-up is pretty straight forward, but we’ve set-up quite a number of these over time, so it’s very intuitive to us by now.We were also surprised that it didn’t have a window for monitoring water levels, to know when to fill up, but it’s actually not a bad thing as one of our previous water fountains failed because the little plastic window popped out and we couldn’t put it back in without the water leaking, so although you can’t see the fill level, it’s actually a bit of a advantage.The fountain is a little bit noisy, but I think the noise, along with movement, is partly to draw attention and stimulate interest from pets, and I’m all for that, anything that keeps them hydrated!In our home, the main downside is the size, it’s quite a large item to have on the floor underfoot, it also has to be placed in close proximity to an outlet. We could only recommend it if it were on a promotion or had a coupon.

This was a game changer for my dogs.. we have 3 water bowls and this one is almost 100% the only one they use! I only wish it was a little bigger.. super easy to clean super easy to use.

I had a plastic 2 gallon before this. It was great because it cleaned up easy, was easy to take apart (even the pump) and was fairly large. But the plastic was starting to degrade and I know stainless is a healthier option, plus I was adding water constantly with 2 big dogs and a cat. So, this was the largest and stainless. I decided to take a chance. Size is great except the pump doesn’t go to the bottom so you’ll never get 3 gallons use. Second, it is a pain to clean. You have to unhook a tube from the top to the pump snd it is awkward to put back together. Plus I can’t seem to open the pump to clean it. Now that I have had it for a bit I am getting more used to it, but it takes almost twice as long to clean as my last one. My biggest gripe is the filter. My previous one’s filter got gross because it caught debris. The water tray didn’t have floaters. I have no idea what this filter actually does as the water, both in the tank and the reservoir, gets really gross really quick. It is too late to return so I might try and get creative regarding the filter. I have a sickly cat so clean the bowl frequently, but I am afraid the junk this bowl holds onto is making her worse. If I can’t I think I will be looking to replace it even though I have only had it just over a month.

Perfect fountain for my Berniedoodle. Perfect fountain my pup to keep him from drinking out of the toilet. I love the stainless steel for hygiene and ease of cleaning. I would give it 5 stars but I don’t think they use the correct pump for it. I purchased a submersible aquarium pump for 12 dollars and it works great. The filter is so so. I might replace it with a Brita filter. My pup loves the fresh water and drinks a lot more water now.

I wish I posted a pic but I have a Rottweiler who loves drinking from this and it holds plenty of water
