This fishing plier works great for those times when your fish has opted to lodge the hook deep. These have the reach and give you enough finesse to work those hooks out. Too, it works general purpose hook removal on larger fish.The line cutter is hit or miss depending on your line. The heavier the line, the more this struggles. But, I am mostly fishing for trout and the like, so I've had no issues.

Started using them bass fishing and they slip into the gill plates perfectly for those deep hookups.

The only thing that was not good was the lanyard clip, but easily fixed. Needle nose pliers are good for different uses.👍
