These accessories worked well during the fly fishing trips. The items provided seemed to be well-made, and a good value for the price. This is a nice gift set for any fly fisherman.

This set has pretty much everything you need. I especially like that it includes the tippet holders and the spool ring because it allows me to hang them off my vest with the elastic holders there to keep the line from unspooling. I had lost a few of the elastic holders from my other bag, so I had been using a rubber band in its place. Not the best thing to do. As for the rest of the tools... they are all handy. I, of course, already have nippers and forceps and such, but to have a few of them makes it easier to not have to move everything when I'm changing from my vest to my shoulder fishing bag.

If you are standing in the stream and needing your tools, this kit will help stay focused on your task at hand: fly fishing. I've struggled with having all of my tools at the tips of my fingers while still keeping my focus on the rod and reel. This kit offers a way to snap and hold several items on your vest along with helpful snippers, forceps and a tippet holder to make it easy to keep your equipment close. I really appreciate how the design of the tools allows you to connect to your fishing vest where you find it most convenient making it a great day to go fishing.

Well for the price it’s not a bad deal , the forcepts are pretty good and the retractors are decent and work good so far . The net holder magnet is fairly cheap plastic but the magnet is strong . With most of these items in this kit I don’t expect to last more than a season or two ..but that goes for most other brands as well … It’s not high end stuff if that’s what your looking for try Dr Slick ..

There is a few things o like about this little kit, but there is a lot which remains lacking.Hands down, the nippers are the best part of the lot. They squeeze shut easily and evenly and there is a knot tying tool and an eye cleaner on the black metal nippers as well. While light, it doesn't feel cheap. These are the best part of the kit and maybe the only decent quality item.he forceps are long with a curved tip and serrated jaws, though deep and widely spaced Mine locked ok, but the more I used them the cheaper they felt. Something is off with the metal itself and I don't know what these will look like after a few days of being wet or in the sun.The magnet on the net release is powerful, but the item itself is plastic and I don't know how it'll hold up after being in the sun and being wet and drying and heating - I worry the magnet will separate or the plastic will break. That magnet is not going to separate accidentally, from its partner, though, that connection is tight!The tippet holder is alllllmost there. The elastic feels cheap and I again can't imagine how this is going to survive a summer of heat. I definitely wouldn't trust this around salt or brackish water at all which would rot the elastic in no time. The carabiner is nice, though.The retractable clips are also pretty flimsy. They held the forceps ok without drooping any line, but I again worry about how this product would do outside . The sticker with the brand name on it had fallen off one side in transit and wouldn't go back on.The net holder is probably the only piece that I would not use at all. The elasticity of the cord feels cheap and the connectors on either end do as well. I wouldn't trust one of my nets with this at all.Lastly, the kit comes with three elastics for reasons yet to be figured out. The white elastics feel out of order in the mostly black painted tools.The last thing that I found odd was the foam that the items came in. The foam is probably higher quality than some of the products but it's not suitable for storing as there is no top, but each item had a carved out inset in the foam. I'm almost temped to cut up the foam and use it for hopper or cricket bodies.
