This timer is used in conjunction with a few soaker hoses to keep the garden moist. But be aware that you are limited to one connected hose - this is not a problem for soaker hoses as you can daisy-chin them. For other applications like drip systems you might better be off with a multi-port system.

This timer is great - very easy to set up for both manual and automatic watering. Does not leak. The automatic feature is super useful esp. when we are traveling for more than a day or two. Will come back to report on how durable it is at the end of summer, but so far 5 stars.Well, it kicked the bucket after about 2 months of use - wish it were durable, while it worked it was great :-( Not willing to shell out this amount every two months though...
