This was fairly easy to install once I got the bolt off my car. It fits my 08 Yukon and seems to be holding up well. It was cheaper than ordering from an auto parts store .

We had a flat tire in below freezing weather and was unable to easily get the spare tire down. This replacement hoist will make life easy, if needed. Unit is held in place with one 15mm bolt. Please wear protective eye gear to keep the rust out of your eyes and keep your mouth closed.

Body of spare tire holder fit well onto car's chassis. The plastic lock ring which holds the guide pipe in place broke during installation(see picture.) No way to contact seller since I purchased this 6 months ago. One feature I like is that the secondary wheel latch found on my original spare tie holder is omitted thereby alleviating the tire tire hanging up and not dropping down.jon
