Rigid TR-1 / Folding TR-2
The Stromberg Carlson Tire Carriers are perfect for spare tire mounting. With a black powder-coated finish and hi-quality welded parts, these tire carriers will fit 4" square bumpers. Model TR-1 is a rigid mount only, while the TR-2 folds to allow access to rear compartments. Mount 15" to 16" travel trailer tires.

Liked this product as I was able to fold down and access my rear storage compartment. Seems sturdy and no wobble as the pin fits snug but easily removed as needed

I bought this one to replace the one that broke that came with my trailer. First, it did not fit the tire/wheel. There was no way to mount it with out fabricating sone Mount adapters. This one was more flimsy than the one that broke too. I ended up having a welder fix and strengthen my old one. While figuring all this out, I missed the return period and had to take this to the recycling center.

I purchased this mount to raise my spare tire as the regular mounts place the tire too lower. My trailer bumper is quite low and only a 3" beam. Many bumpers are 4" beams, but no all. The one modification to this mount that would improve it would be pre-drilled holes to increase it's adjustability. The metal is heavy enough for strength but not so heavy to increase trailer weight very much. A great buy, but I will have to modify it to fit.
