If you are going to be cutting acrylic material I would recommend trying this bit. I never realized how much difference the Oflute bit can make. I was trying to use a 1/8", up cut, 2 flute end mill to cut some 1/4" thk. acrylic material. It worked so long as I was cutting small pieces one at a time. The first time I tried to cut bigger pieces with longer cuts it overheated and melted the material and just made a mess.I got this bit and tried it at 18000 rpm with 100" per minute travel speed and 1/4" depth per pass. it worked remarkedly well but it left a slightly rough (scalloped) edge. I slowed the travel speed to 80" per minute and reduced the pass depth to 3/16" per pass and it cut extremely well and left a very smooth edge. I am going to order another one of the 1/4" bits and also (2) 1/8" bits. I don't know how well these work in other materials but right now I am cutting a fair amount of acrylic. I am going to experiment with these bits on some aluminum as well as wood just to see what they will do.

Nice, consistent bits with a coating that is intended to reduce heat buildup and extend the life of the cutting edge. The bits are machined consistently. Nice spirals, consistent cutting edges and a sharp tip on each. Polished shafts, really good attention to detail for the price point.

Had a cnc job that needed to cut 1 inch deep profile. My mill only has 4750 rpm so was worried how this single flute design would work. Ran multiple 1/4" deep passes at 25 in/min. Chips came out clean, no melting of clogging, surface finish good. Only down side is can't plunge cut.

Super sharp and every bit as good as a coated Amana bit or Onsrud bit, while being very affordable. I push them as hard as I do domestic bits like Whiteside and Belin, but I have not yet broken one. Just make sure your collet is smooth and does not have any burrs, insert the bit the correct distance for your particular collet design, and torque the collet nut properly. If your CNC router is rigid and you cut with properly aggressive speeds and feeds, you'll get a lot of mileage from them.
