Absolutely brilliant piece of equipment! Saves so much time recharging car batteries.I gave this a charge using electric before using it and haven’t had to charge it all winter. So it has gone Dec, Jan & Feb on solar. I can personally confirm it gives a good shock too! Highly recommended and easy to set up and use

I wanted a solar fence charger for my horses. After researching solar fence chargers brands, voltage and customer reviews, I decided to purchase My Animal Command Solar Fence Charger based on customer reviews and customer service. Purchased it July 2024 received it quickly and worked well. I checked it every day to make sure for about 2 weeks, as solar was new to me. After that just checked on it periodically. InOctober 2024 no longer working. Emailed customer service, received an immediate response. They helped me troubleshoot, but nothing worked. Company sent out a new charger and I had it within a week! Customer service stayed in contact and reassured me the product had a years warranty and to contact them if I needed any more assistance.

I really dont like to leave bad reviews. But, i purchased this, and it worked great for a while. Its gives a good shock that my animals respected. But then, it stopped working. I had it out doors, as it's advertised and one day after it rained i picked up the box and water was in it. I unscrewed some to confirm what i thought. The entire unit had water inside. So it works...as long as you keep it away from the outdoors. If the company is reading this I would like change my review, by you sending me a replacement. But, I gotta share my experiences and let people know what their getting into.

When we first opened it we didn't have high expectations to be honestMy hubby wasn't expecting it to work but we charged it fully first and set up was very easy ( for him) andseems to work excellent as one of our horses touched it , went running for the hills and they haven't been near the fence to chew since! so we are extremely happy with it so far.

I received this electric fence charger in June, and it worked great for keeping my goats in. Now, it doesn't work at all. I'd love to get a refund, but it's been 3 months so I guess the most I'll get to do is warn others not to buy this. Update: I changed my initial rating of 1 star to 5 stars because the customer service is great. They reached out to me shortly after my review and offered to give me a full refund or replace the unit. I opted to have a replacement sent, and they have continued to check in to make sure the unit is working properly. I haven't had a chance to get the unit properly set up to verify its effectiveness, but I really appreciate the customer service being on top of providing a good quality product. I will update when I get the new unit set up and running.

I use this Animal Command Solar Powered Electric Fence Charger as the power source for a custom designed counter measure system to repel squiddles (squirrels), chipmunks and even slugs. I custom designed and printed polywire fence supports with guides for the polywire spaced at about 1.5 inch intervals and connected this fence charger power source with the polarity alternating between each loop around the garden tote containers. The fence supports bolt onto the containers so that the wire can be pulled taught.So far this has proven extremely effective and eliminated the random nibbles on my "toe may toes" that are in the process of ripening. Also seems to kill slugs as they cross through the fence (added bonus).I have only had one instance where the fence charger did not charge enough from the solar panel during the day and had to be charged from the adapter. I adjusted the solar panel angle to face more upward and so far that seems to be working.This product is pretty simple to use, seems to pack a nice spark and has served my purpose and solved my problem. As with anything time will tell as to how well it holds up to the Virginia climate as well as battery life, etc. I have only be using this for a few weeks (installed June 10, 2024), so far so good.

I bought the My Animal Command solar charger after reading lots of positive articles and reviews. It is replacing my Parmak DF-SP-LI solar charger that we bought a year ago. The Parmak never worked properly even after returning it (at my cost) to the factory TWICE! In addition, the Parmak costs about $100 more.The charger is for our 100' x 50' garden. We've run 4 strands of 6 wired polyrope in parallel around the entire garden with a single strand 3 feet outside to visually discourage deer.The charger comes with a separate Wall adapter so you can fully charge the battery via the built in DC Port on the unit. It took less that 4 hours before it was fully charged and ready to install. I attached the charger to a t-post and then attached my ground and positive wired to the easily accessible posts on the charger. There is a large on/off button on the front of the charger plus a LED light that flashes to show the current discharging into the fence. I decided to test the current with my hand....IT WORKS!We have only had the new charger for 2 months so can't predict how long it will last. Based on reviews, it has been very dependable for other users. We are very happy to have the My Animal Control solar charger and glad to be rid of the Parmak.

Works great when it works! Mine failed after four months, but the seller quickly replaced it for free once notified. Now it’s back in action—and while I’m thrilled, the deer definitely aren’t!

I purchased the charger in Jan 2024 to keep squirrels out of my vegetable garden. Was easy to install. Did an excellent job keeping the squirrels out (and without injuring them like a trap or poison would).Toward the end of the season the charger would lose power toward the end of the day, even on sunny days. I was unable to charge the unit with the manual charger before putting the unit in storage as recommended in the instructions.I contacted MyAnimalCommand by phone (left a voice message) and an email message informing them of the problem. I got a reply back from them THE SAME DAY (both by phone and email), agreeing to send me a replacement.They did not hesitate to honor the one-year warranty and I received a new unit from them just a few days later.Especially considering their excellent customer service, I would highly recommend you try their product.

Definitely worth the price, I wish I had purchased this sooner as we stuck to namebrand in fear that no name would not work properly. I actually feel that this is even hotter than my Gallagher M120, which is grounded with more than one galvanized stop sign post. I had to put this up in a pinch, so the delivery speed was awesome, I just grounded it to an existing non-painted T-post in the middle of the fence line, And ran the six strand wire to the left into the right on a single strand, and it keeps my cows in and my jersey bull in no problem… And keep the neighbours red limo bull on his side with his beef cows.

Easy to set up and it worked well. But the main appreciation to me was the ease of discussing a problem with the vendor. After a short step by step discussion of a problem that came along five months after purchase, a replacement component was on my doorstep within a week. Now that is service!
